That Walli. Try two hand claps when you call him back. It will get to the point that you only have to clap twice and he will come back. Tought it to my GSP by the recommendation from a trainer. Peace and be safe.

This brings back so many good (and bad) memories of my GSP from hell. Hiking with my GF and he takes off. GF says oh, no, he ran away. Naw, just give him a couple minutes, he’ll be back.
Allow me to just say that I love that you guys let your pups: 1) lick your faces 2) get on beds & couches with you I always think it's so odd when people refuse to let their dog kiss them or make their dogs always stay on the floor. What's the point of having sweet, well-trained pups as part of the family if they're not allowed to actually fully interact with you??

You are NEVER alone when you have a GSP. Off-leash, you walk one mile as your GSP runs five.
When we talked about finding our 2nd GSP, I asked we get one w a lower SAT score than we had.
