Hey Jam Fam! Today were going over my W's and L's for the new Brawl Stars Update! I'm a little mixed about this update. The Spongebob event will be fun, but a few things worry me about it. And theres a sever lack of content outside of the event that also is a problem since this is the third update in a row that is kinda like that. Let me know what you think down in the comments!

Events are starting to become a problem.
They put so much time and effort into them - but theres now more long-term content. No improvements on Mega Pig or Ranked.
Ever since the Godzilla season, we get one month of chaos and one month of "normal" brawl stars. I dont mind events of theyre well planned out - not at all. But i dont need them every other month either. They start to lose their excitement for me.
Edit: just watched the final part of your vid. 100% agree. The last few updates really did feel very similar. I almost anticipate the next update will be similar again. Hopefully not
Yeah just like the community events too. It almost is expected at the end of the season but it's not actual changes for that are needed.
Good point! Those community events were super hype and fun the first time around but quickly lose their magic if we get them too frequently
As a f2p, having only legendaries and mythics to unlock is painfull, when I get one another is added.

I do like that we get the choice of what to buy with the cash, rather than another rng based event.
That is true, but some of these packs are pretty expensive. Hopefully there's cheaper offers as well
Being stingy with the kash is fine if the end reward is cosmetic. It will be a way to tell that ppp with the skin are dedicated and didnt missbq day. Since its just a skin, it doesnt harm the player if they miss out cos its cosmetic.
Trio showdown would be better without powerups. It sucks that powerups is permanantly on of this mode.
Problem is it isn't just a skin tho, there doing those packs and it's a lot more stuff
To be honest my problem with higher rarity brawlers stems from the fact that it feels like a lot of times brawlers that are assigned mythic could have been assigned lower rarities. I'm not exactly sure how they decide what the rarity of a brawler is going to me but it seems like it is how "complex" they think the brawler is and for example I don't think brawlers like Buzz, Lily, and Charlie are worthy of that.
Yeah lilly and buzz aren't that complicated to be the second to highest rarity

Getting actually progression and let you choose what you can buy is big W, but we need QoL changes at least

Daily we can get 460 plus 100 from shop so 560 daily times 28 equal to 15 680 which mean we can buy 1 skin 1 hypercharge pack for 10k and for 5k kash hypercharge
The SpongeBob skin would’ve been perfect for ash since ash and SpongeBob have the same body shape. But the reason they went for el primo is because he’s one of the most popular brawlers.
I really hope the shop is good, i want to buy skins on their own because they might all be gone after the event and i really dont want to miss out on any of the skins but i doubt they will sell skins on their own without starr drops or other stuff added
I was thinking about this when checking out the sneak peaks and KT said they would only be in packs and all the issues they've been having with the Godzilla skins

It's hard to tell honestly cause it depends on the offers that come up in that shop. It looks like we'll get about 560 Krist kash a day, so maybe one or two offers? Idk for sure tho
Tbh i want supercell to remake the way you get trophies and elo because i am so fucking tired of caring my randoms only for them to be free ult charge for the oposite team and lose damm 10 trophies and they could change it so when i get 1 kill or do 5000 amount of damage i get 1 trophy/10 elo if i die 1 time i lose 1 trophy/10 elo if i win i gain +2 trophies/20 elo if i lose i lose 2 trophies/ 20 elo (you would only gain elo by winning after mythic ) i think that this would make getting trophies and elo way more fun and less painful
Krabs as tick is a great offense, and having gary be for sandy is so annoying, and another thing, 3/ the 6 hypercharges this update were aboslutely trash( especially tara)
I just seen the Tara Hypercharge and it's huge so you shouldn't miss but it's just exciting 😞
If they're not planning to add any new permanent content, at least improve what's already there i.e. mega pig and ranked. Balance chamges were a w tho.
The sneak peaks were super late today so I didn't even bother trying to include them here but there's a lot. My girl Tara got the worst buff I've ever seen 😭
we need more super rares, rares and especially a new rarity (hopefully between epic and super rare)

@@JAMBS_ i spent real money once on a pass during ragnarok season (buzz was my old main), after that, i went back to the free pass. I barely get high amounts of bling.
@CaptainObvious55 I have a hard time getting it outside the brawl pass cause ranked is so low when it drops, and trophies give like nothing. It's almost like they don't like the idea of giving bling out anymore.
@@JAMBS_ it was fun at the start, but we know most game company want money, so thats why they reduce bling amount to force people spent money on bling/gems if they want their skins.
For me personally my biggest w would be the new brawlers the seen really fun to play and the biggest and the biggest L would be the 3 games modes returning will not just be weekend games like am so board of playing the same 8 games I just don’t feel like playing the game because ever time it just feels the same all the time
That's kinda what I was getting at with the last point. We get these big events that are fun, but theres nothing outside of those events except brawlers and skins
