Jinjer is the best metal band out today. They are ridiculously talented at every position, and they truly don't have a bad song to their name. Continue down the rabbit hole and you will absolutely fall in love with this band. There is nobody like them!

Background how this song came to be.
Tatiana Shmailyuk, lead singer Jinjer, wrote this scathing number about religious hypocrites after a good friend - a fellow musician and Pisces - accused her of being immoral. The so-called friend took offense when Tatiana Shmailyuk posed in lingerie on Instagram to promote a woman's small business. After receiving some perverted comments, the singer removed the post but, little did she know, the damage was done.
"My friend, who I won't name, started dwelling on this behind my back on all her social media. She did streams and posted it on Twitter, saying, 'You don't have to do that. You're not bad as a singer, so you don't have to show your body to have success.' And then she blocked me from her social media!" she recalled in a 2022 Songfacts interview.
"So that's the song about her. She tried to teach me morality without even knowing the reason why I put those things out - because I wanted to help a person promote her products, not to gain attention or popularity. So, long story short, this is for bitches like her."

I love Jinjer's live performances. The two I would pick "Who is Gonna be the One" (Live, Napalm Records) and "Captain Clock" live at Resurrection Fest.
Outlander and When 2 Empires collide from Resplublica festival in 2015 are insane..
I hardly ever see Captain Clock live being suggested. I think it is one of their best ones and it really highlights Tati's stage presence. Good choice!!!!

This band don't play. You ow it to yourself to see them live at least once. Fabulous. Tatiana is the Queen.
Jinjer are a shining light of metal in the 2020s. They already have many excellent songs, often with a strong political message, but my favourite remains "Outlander", from earlier in their career.
My favorite Jinjer song is Captain Clock. The main video for the song is a lyric video. It's good but the live version at Resurrection Fest is also my favorite live performance from them.
My go to is still Pit of Conciousness, especially the live in Kiev version that song gives me chills every single time.
This and On the Top, from the same performance. This band is damn near unparalleled live! ❤

They're all my favorites. If I have to choose, I'd pick polar opposites. Pit of Consciousness (Live in Kiev) for her insane growls and "Bad Water" omv for the cool video and doesn't have any growls.
I am glad that you are enjoying your Jinjer adventure. I have been following Jinjer for 6 years now and I am still excited about the band and Tatiana, all their song are great and distinctly different. It is hard to find a favorite. I would that Tati’s live performance of their Who is going to be the one. Any of their live performances where they have a good sound system out shine their videos, which is hard because their videos are very good. Wall flower is one of their most epic videos.

Pit of Consciousness live in Kiev is arguably their best live preference they have ever done. The music alone is fire then Tati dumps her entire duffel bag of vocal techniques on top of that. This song is band from work out Playlist because you will wind up injuring your everything

Funny story I first discovered Jinjer back about 5 years ago through a TH-cam recommendation, and I literally only clicked the video because I am ginger and found it hilarious 😂 and here I am a huge fan 🤘

You really can't go wrong with Jinjer, the whole band is amazing and Tatiana is a superstar. They're once of the best bands going right now. Also check out Crypta, the all female death metal band from Brazil, their new album is awesome and they have some great videos.

Another great reaction! So glad you are enjoying Jinjer. They are really unlike anyone else in the business right now. Their songs are so dynamic, and they blend grooves and genres effortlessly. They do this, yet they all stay quite balanced, with no one person attempting to overpower the other. Creating complete songs without the ego. Hard to pick a single song but be sure to check out "Perennial" live at Wacken, "Judgement and Punishment" one take, "Home Back", "Vortex", and "I Speak Astronomy". Can't wait to see more

My all time favorite Jinjer song is "Retrospection" i would recommend the music video. There are some fantastic live versions, but the MV gives visual context the live versions are missing

Jinjer is one of the best bands around today, not least because Vlad, their drummer, is a classically trained pianist and adds a layer of complexity and syncopation thats makes their compositions really stand out. I'd recommend Vortex and Wallflower for shining examples of virtuousity. Love the reaction!!

It's really hard to pick a favorite Jinjer song, as there are so many good ones. Lyrically I really love Perennial. Beautiful poetry set to song. But, as a complete song, the interesting arrangements in Pit of Consciousness makes it my most played Jinjer song.
Jinjer is interesting in that their official music videos are generally very good, but their live videos are even better. They capture the band in their element and you get a feel for Tati's towering stage presence.....the way she moves and commands the stage is top tier. And Roman, Eugene and Vlad are the tits. I saw them live in September and was really impressed how tight they are.

My favorites: "Teacher, Teacher", "Perennial" which are straight go-tos, but then there is "Vortex" which took me some time, but it grew massively on my, just like "Judgement and Punishment" (although I really do NOT like Reggae). And then of course there is "Home back" which I see in a completely different light after Russia started the war with Ukraine (their home country).
Tatiana is a beast of a vocalist, she will rip you apart. She is on her way to become one of the top metal vocalists.

Is that what this portrays only to me?? Am I all alone on my opinion about this band? Group? High school kids doing a project trying to be different in their town in the North Dakota woods with population of 2,474?? I’m sure that 97% of viewers on this channel disagree with me, doesn’t surprise me now days…but anywho….by the way, I’m not any rising star musician by means, so I tried to explain the musical theatrics in my best words and opinions. I just did a quick dive through your videos, and you seem to have a knack for grabbing onto the essence of a song in a pretty quick take, without a lot of pausing and rewinding. I'm not opposed to skillful pausing and rewinding, but you squeeze a lot of insight into a small space. Good work!
I'm mostly around for the Jinjer lol. To me they are the most exciting band around these days. For too long I got locked into old dinosaur bands like Metallica. When I discovered Jinjer in late 2022 it sparked a revolution in my rotation habits. Now I'm into djent and metalcore and progressive melodic metal (among many other things).

Fave track is Vortex, unless I'm listening to Wallflower in which case I'm not so sure. But ask me after the next album drops... probably will have a new king then.

Now you need to check out Spiritbox. I recommend the song Blessed Be or the song Beauty In Suffering. I like Jinjer, but Spiritbox is on another level. They are also a female fronted band.

Seen them a little over 2 years ago in Harrisburg PA. Closest band I've ever been too. I was 2 arms lengths away from Tatiana. B Cliche to say catch out Pisces by them. But check it out. Judgement & Punishment is a good track.
