That pre-filter will take care of the water along with dirt. I've never heard of the dirt thing but they're usually used to help filter out water or water proof the CAI.
I just got a Jeep that already had this installed. But it has a hole in the top of the box that goes through the hood to a snorkel. It's a pretty cool looking set up but I have no idea if it helps or hurts performance. I do know the filter is dirty but I can't find a replacement.
Have you installed a Cold Air Intake system? What kind of CAI, into what vehicle and did you experience a difference? Was it worth the money to you?
What are your overall thoughts on the Volant with the Powercore now that's it's been awhile since you installed it?
Was the exhaust all stock at the time of the vid? just curious?
