thx ovvy. i can't stress enough how much tactics are important for mediocre players like myself. i understand that good players can overcome most of the tactics stuff with their perfect game fundamentals and some tricks, but i just cant especially when i am up by 2 and then script starts working for the opponent (every deflection goes straight to him, every duel he wins, i cant intercept most of the passes that would be intercepted otherwise and so on...). that script in combination with the press is huge this year. honestly, it is what makes the game lame, because regardless of whether it is working for me or against me i feel that it just ruins the balance of powers between players in a bad way. and that is when tactics is the most important for me.
Did you had any problems with taking a penalty shot ? I mean like on my console i see that i can’t control the power and efficiency from the penalty, i don’t know why but i saw many people had this glitch..
Thanks Ovvy! I know 4231 and 4321 are meta this year but I was looking forward to a 4222 video, it's probably not the most sweaty meta comp but it's definitely the one I have the most fun with, I find having 2 strikers gives more variety to your game than just running on the wing and hoping for a cutback pass. I also found that if you have a midfielder that has box-to-box stats AND high-high workrates, instead of having a left back on overlap, you can keep both fullbacks on stay back, and let your box to box midfielder on balanced attack, it's slightly different in the build up but similar end result, except in my opinion it gives you more interesting triangle passing options between the LB, LCM and LCAM, to combine or even just to slow down the tempo and keep possession. With LB on overlap it's more direct offensive play. Equally, most "meta" comps seem to be using get in behind on strikers, which works well but again, in transition it forces you to play forward quickly, and against a good player that's often a quick way to lose the ball or be offside, when sometimes it's better to use them as "pivoting" players and slow down the play so you can conquer the other half of the pitch. As always, you're here with the best content, well explained, with the most friendly accent :) I wish you a lot of good this year buddy!
Just see your emblem thats my club. Big love
thanks Ovvy much appreciated
Gonna try this. The only formation i can play witj in 24 is 4-1-2-1-2 narrow. Ive tried 5-2-1-2, 4-3-2-1, 4-4-2... and i always get slaughtered
thx ovvy.

You are making many formation guides. But i am kind of confused u tell every formation the best. And now i dont know wich one to use. Can u tell me?
It depends on how u play u should try different formations and find out what works for u
Exactly, each formation fits a certain playstyle and certain players.
