tbh almost got it all pretty correct I play elise as my main jungler together with nocturne( supp main here transitioning to jungler) but when I compare my elise to the challenger elise here in my country I see a very huge difference like I know which lane to prioritize what path to do but I this tinitiny bit off macro information in the map this has open a lot of for me now. Now I know that I needed to change my F1 keys and instead put it in addition in the numpad key closer damn so good. I wanna know what will a challenger do for example using a late game scaling champ in this type of situations when he is up against an early jungler ( or any scaling champ) complete two different play styles

once again really happy about this guide, exactly what you said at the start : at a certain point, it becomes harder to get better, and the fact you did show me a good player completly skipping camps or ignoring the closest gankable lane in order to stick to his original plan is here the key point, i would really rarely do this before, thinking that it was more efficient to take what is the closest regardless sometimes of the gameplan. Even tho i did respond "correctly" in most of the cases you were showing here, ive been wrong on the tunnel vision top plays skiping bot mid and camps in the way. Watching this made me understand that was a big mistake, throwing up what i could have built before while also losing the tempo i was considering better by sometimes skipping the plan to go for the close range play. Big lesson, thank you and good luck for the next :)
I just got into league about 6 months ago and I’ve done a lot of research on how to get better and this video was an eye opener as to how many mistakes I make as a jungler because they seem so minor but really do ruin a game if you don’t play correctly so I am just wanting to give a huge thank you to skill capped for releasing such helpful content

I picked up jungle more serious as of late having only played LoL a little in season 10 and jumping into season 11, I picked it up because I realized I focused more on kills rather than pushing and being a stalwart tank in top lane even when playing tanky champions, lane control is my worse trait so i thought playing a role that focused less on last hitting minions and more on over all game control cause I know that's what I think about and talk aloud my thoughts when playing with friends so I figured it'd be good to put that part of my brain to good use, what tipped me over the edge was the release of Viego cause he just clicked all the right buttons for me, since then I've been eating up any and all relevant content from both you and pro guides about jungling so I can both improve at the champion and at the game over all so I don't get the feeling once I've run into a wall in game that I messed up and did something wrong that massively pushed me out of the game and likely could've costed me the game, so Thanks for the tips and tricks!

Feels good! I regularly try to set up a good game for the carry champ(s) on my team, if I’m not already getting ahead through all the counter-strats against their jung. But then I play against a lethality Yi and he’s invisible for 80% of his penta -_-

that's the reason it's ADVANCED decision-making, made for ADVANCED level of gameplay, and not for low-elo, and, as resumed in the end of the video : "Sometimes *you're NOT THE 1V9 CARRY OF THE GAME* and that's okay, but setting up the right teammate to do it is just as valuable as knowing how to do it" In lower elo, you SHOULD be the one 1v9'ing the game, because you can consistently build huge leads by abusing the countless mistakes all low-elo players does
I actually wanted to do Blue, Gromp, Wolves and gank mid in the beginning. I thought Jayce would want to slow push and would be hard to gank, and I did not even consider ganking bot, because trist and pyke can both just jump/dash away. Definitely got most of these questions wrong, but I also expected this as I literally do not play jungle, like... ever lol.
I think i have a very good understanding of the mechanics of my champion pool. Need to study the game a bit more and i think i might reach diamond 4 next year.
The multiple choice question setup is really helpful for learning what to do next. So more videos filled with that type of thing would be really helpful!
I have a question about the play at 4:30 where Elise takes wolves before continuing up. Wouldnt Reksai also likely be doing the same path and get the the top side before you if you take wolves? If Reksai gets up there first Jayce dies and is immediately behind. I would think doing a three camp clear and waiting to countergank given the wave state would be the better play as it allows for a gank or countergank with the only downside being you didnt take wolves which can later be sequenced easily.
5:23 they mentioned bot lane showing up late and thus their jungler was starting red. So the only way Reksai would be there before elise if he went red > blue > grump and get to top around at 2:45. Either way, if rek sai does this pathing he‘ll be first in top lane regardless of elise doing wolves or not. But it didn‘t happen so elise could continue her game plan.

When you re playing evelynn you can do the exact same thing, when you see rek sie bot .with the difference of after securing a top lead level 3, you have to focus on getting 6 asap (meaning: full clearing) and then you can go ahead and dive camille over and over...its worth noting that reksie played really poorly by staying botlane for as long as he did and if he plays around top you probbly lose the 2v2, if you re a farming jungler, like evelynn / karthus.
This video alone made me want to buy a membership to skill capped. I maybe and swerved two of the questions right and it was never for the right reason. I can see how it works so well because there is so much more macro play to be made then just “win objectives”.

Exactly, gg go next! You need to play for the statistically highest winrate play according to your elo. If all your teammates are bronze then you need to pick Yi and just 1v9 since that's the statistically highest winrate play. But of course, in high ELO decision making is a lot different than in silver dumpster => that's why smurfs have a completely different playstyle than on their main.
If you are at this level, ennemies are also doing so much mistakes so you can overfeed yourself easely. Only if you learn to see thoses mistakes obviusly
I kinda doubt that non premade on the level of plat or below will want to dive lvl 3. People are just so scared of turrets sometimes in my experiance its pretty crazy. Sometimes even ping off the 4v2 on bot when huge wave is crashing.
but what if the player you are playing for starts inting and u lose the game (it happens a lot with me specially with yasous)? what if bot starts feeding and then eventually u have to deal with a 20/0 trist?

Well, that would depend on wave state, sums, enemy top hp, info on enemy jg etc... exept that scenario would not happen in chall, and it would be over if it did. It could happen in lower elo though, and the game would continue being anyones game xd..
I'm a bit confused by rek'sai pathing. From her start I would assume she would red-blu-gromp into gank top since jayce should take lane priority leaving him exposed (he also played very aggressive and got low in HP), by that I would have skipped wolf to try a counter gank. Now what's the idea with doing a fulclear bot like that from rek'sai?
VanBrokkost most likely knows that Elise will start blue due to matchups and bc rek sai doesn’t want to fight 2v2 or for top scuttle, she full clears bot into a bot gank

i was oringinally thinking bot first camping top second because i saw that the enemy team was all ad and top was the only ad damage i should have known to camp top first not bot but i guess I'm so used to playing kayn i normally play for myself and not really my team
Ok this is only for high elo i get it because my jayce would dive camille and die tp botlane die and camille take 4 plates and resets in that time i would really like to apply this stuff but im not high elo enough do do that
The thing is: if you really want to climb, you do it by start improving if you pretend to climb without focusing on improving you'll remain hardstuck in your elo.(personal experience)
Please explain why Rek'sai's 16 CS are from krugs, red buff, raptors and bot side crab. I googled and it said krugs=10 CS, red= 1 CS, raptors=2 CS (sounds weird/wrong) and crab=1 CS. So 10+1+2+1= 14 CS in my calculation. It would be really helpfull to be able to press tab and calculate wich camps the enemy jungler possibly did.
at 4:40, I'm not sure if you should do wolf as jayce is playing up with half health. Wont he just die to ganks if reksai gank after 3 camp while you don't skip wolf? Jayce is not playing back & not a huge enough wave to protect him.
You are literally behind in tempo if you do 4 camp and the enemy did 3 camp in this super volatile top matchup. Everytime my top laner just die to gank at this time lol
When u showed screenshots of 08:50 of the lanestates the conclusion was to go top. For me though it looked like jayce was able to zone very well without help, and with dragon up and Pyke dead would it not be a good idea to think objectives and potentially mid here?
the thing is, there is no definite correct answer in this game. your idea was also a correct idea. jayce can shove&reset, and Elise gets drake since Pyke dead
@@desugdirunaonline2996 Yeah I see what you mean. It also might be the fact that I am not challenger, and relying on my teammates is not something I am willing to do for climbing. Therefor, looking at objectives might be a more atractive choice for me.
Were they not clear enough that this is not a low elo video. Also if you are in low elo how do you know what works there as it has not carried you out.
@@nicholaswilliam7847 I mean, yeah you can't trust your low elo teammate to not throw if you camp them. But at least from my experience, camping is the easiest way to win in low elo (low dia and below), because enemies get tilted and call for jungler and you win 2v2s, forcing pressure away from other lanes in the process. I would recommend trying camping again but going even harder on it, not letting your laner throw the lead, just farm both jungles on that side and go back until the lane says jungle diff and goes to afk xd Atleast I find that to be by far the easiest way to win in low elo, but try to take the lead to yourself instead for your laner. :)
in the first situation elisse was playing vs a full ad comp she has to play safe farm get armor and gank the jayce and they can win min 20 100% if jayce is ahead
At 6:52 there was the biggest Chance to freeze the Wave into jayce and destroying the Camille but they deside to Dive ? That seems Like a better sorry than safe Option lol
Elise is good at diving because her spider E makes her untargetable to drop turret aggro and her CC doesn't deal damage to initiate aggro either. Freezing is the safe play but on good dive champs like Elise or Yi its prefectly reasonable to do the dive.

I'm sure they already have guides about this one.. but it has something to do with how big the wave is, and who has more minions. Basically, the more minions to survive until your next minion wave comes, the more chance you'll be crashing your minions to the enemy tower. If you see build up of enemy minions. You can try to visit them or shadow them just so they can clear, even if the wave is still far from your tower just to be safe. And also, if you dont know your laners' gameplan. Dont try to clear their wave for them. They might want to freeze. Only help he obviously want to crash it.
I would say didn't get any answer right since some of the question I got the answer almost right like "invade cus reksai have 14cs and gank bot" but instead we dive camiel b4 invading" how do I improve from this
loses tempo because raptors are further away and elise cannot do that camp fast, resetting allows to get lvl 4 gromp into gank or vice versa depending on bot wave state
stomp the early game with the double mage bot lane is not a chance? i think the team comp doesn't have good late game so is better try to end the game quickly and ganking a camille is so hard
At 8:27 we know reksai is bot because we stole her top camps and it is warded, bot is extended and easily gankable, why shouldn't we stay/gain vision bot to avoid a possible gank or counter ganking with triple cc and probably taking at least one kill?
I like the example but the problem is , lowelo laners literally do the most random Bs and neither know if they are supposed to engage or let the jungler engage .like i see it myself i m less of a carry jungler and more of a mid focused controling jungler which is literally impossible below dia and even there its rarely gettin used properly .
I would still do the same, at least on the first gank... Almost any game if you have jayce or fiora on your team it's like necessary to get them ahead as a jungler. I'm Plat so I'm still bad, but I'll probably gank them all at least once just so they won't cry. But I'll focus heavily on supporting the top lane.
You forgot 1 important thing about low Elo... ADCs are allergic to buying defensive, even against full AD, dont expect them to build Steelcaps or Deaths Dance... They wont!
Failed to recognize the win condition and it went downhill from there :P I'm not playing ranked yet, but I believe that this win condition won't be reliable or even relevant in low elo games (where I will end up in). Reason is you can't rely on the top laner using that advantage and that enemy will be stacking MR.
@@avatarinega656 To elaborate a little, they said it was for people who had done their initial climb and got stuck to help them identify small mistakes that add up over the course of the game. It won't save me from the 4/12 Corki jungles that I get sometimes, but the best mentality for climbing is to realize what you could have done differently to win instead of lose, which this guide aims to fix.
Instead of waiting in the top side bush for Camille @ 7min, couldn't you instead take his blue, his gromp, dive and then scuttle? I say Gromp bc of its XP value.

Why wouldn't you play around bot? Yes they will stack mt but it doesn't matter if you get your bot fed. Jayce will win Camille becuase he is strong early game and furthermore, their botlane is pyke tristana which will destroy if left untouched
That doesnt work as good as u think because most of the players below plat diamond have no clue on how to carry as a Jaycee top for example and start inting as soon as you are not there as a Jungler
this is all fun and good untill you realise that your most likely win condition is a player who will throw his lead just as fast as you gave it to him thats why i prefere taking kills as jgl

Well, that would depend on wave state, sums, enemy top hp, info on enemy jg etc... exept that scenario would not happen in chall, and it would be over if it did. It could happen in lower elo though, and the game would continue being anyones game xd..
I'm a bit confused by rek'sai pathing.
From her start I would assume she would red-blu-gromp into gank top since jayce should take lane priority leaving him exposed (he also played very aggressive and got low in HP), by that I would have skipped wolf to try a counter gank.
Now what's the idea with doing a fulclear bot like that from rek'sai?
VanBrokkost most likely knows that Elise will start blue due to matchups and bc rek sai doesn’t want to fight 2v2 or for top scuttle, she full clears bot into a bot gank
I liked your guide but sometimes when I do like you,gank the solo lane carry and he gets fed, he doesnt end up carrying the game and that feels bad man.

Ok this is only for high elo i get it because my jayce would dive camille and die tp botlane die and camille take 4 plates and resets in that time i would really like to apply this stuff but im not high elo enough do do that
The thing is:
if you really want to climb, you do it by start improving
if you pretend to climb without focusing on improving you'll remain hardstuck in your elo.(personal experience)
Please explain why Rek'sai's 16 CS are from krugs, red buff, raptors and bot side crab.
I googled and it said krugs=10 CS, red= 1 CS, raptors=2 CS (sounds weird/wrong) and crab=1 CS.
So 10+1+2+1= 14 CS in my calculation.
It would be really helpfull to be able to press tab and calculate wich camps the enemy jungler possibly did.
They changed the cs values a while ago, every single jungle camp has a value of 4 cs

at 4:40, I'm not sure if you should do wolf as jayce is playing up with half health. Wont he just die to ganks if reksai gank after 3 camp while you don't skip wolf? Jayce is not playing back & not a huge enough wave to protect him.
You are literally behind in tempo if you do 4 camp and the enemy did 3 camp in this super volatile top matchup. Everytime my top laner just die to gank at this time lol
When u showed screenshots of 08:50 of the lanestates the conclusion was to go top. For me though it looked like jayce was able to zone very well without help, and with dragon up and Pyke dead would it not be a good idea to think objectives and potentially mid here?
but reksai could show up and maybe pyke roaming top. At that point jayce wouldnt be able to 1v3. So maintaining top pressure was the best play
the thing is, there is no definite correct answer in this game. your idea was also a correct idea. jayce can shove&reset, and Elise gets drake since Pyke dead
@@desugdirunaonline2996 Yeah I see what you mean. It also might be the fact that I am not challenger, and relying on my teammates is not something I am willing to do for climbing. Therefor, looking at objectives might be a more atractive choice for me.
I don't think intense camping for your teammate works in low elo. It's highly dependent on Jayce not throwing his lead.

@@nicholaswilliam7847 I mean, yeah you can't trust your low elo teammate to not throw if you camp them. But at least from my experience, camping is the easiest way to win in low elo (low dia and below), because enemies get tilted and call for jungler and you win 2v2s, forcing pressure away from other lanes in the process. I would recommend trying camping again but going even harder on it, not letting your laner throw the lead, just farm both jungles on that side and go back until the lane says jungle diff and goes to afk xd Atleast I find that to be by far the easiest way to win in low elo, but try to take the lead to yourself instead for your laner. :)
in the first situation elisse was playing vs a full ad comp she has to play safe farm get armor and gank the jayce and they can win min 20 100% if jayce is ahead
At 6:52 there was the biggest Chance to freeze the Wave into jayce and destroying the Camille but they deside to Dive ? That seems Like a better sorry than safe Option lol
Elise is good at diving because her spider E makes her untargetable to drop turret aggro and her CC doesn't deal damage to initiate aggro either. Freezing is the safe play but on good dive champs like Elise or Yi its prefectly reasonable to do the dive.

I'm sure they already have guides about this one.. but it has something to do with how big the wave is, and who has more minions. Basically, the more minions to survive until your next minion wave comes, the more chance you'll be crashing your minions to the enemy tower. If you see build up of enemy minions. You can try to visit them or shadow them just so they can clear, even if the wave is still far from your tower just to be safe. And also, if you dont know your laners' gameplan. Dont try to clear their wave for them. They might want to freeze. Only help he obviously want to crash it.

7:50 more optimal play would be to secure the raptors instead of krugs, so reksie doesnt snatch them from under your nose
loses tempo because raptors are further away and elise cannot do that camp fast, resetting allows to get lvl 4 gromp into gank or vice versa depending on bot wave state

At 8:27 we know reksai is bot because we stole her top camps and it is warded, bot is extended and easily gankable, why shouldn't we stay/gain vision bot to avoid a possible gank or counter ganking with triple cc and probably taking at least one kill?
I like the example but the problem is , lowelo laners literally do the most random Bs and neither know if they are supposed to engage or let the jungler engage .like i see it myself i m less of a carry jungler and more of a mid focused controling jungler which is literally impossible below dia and even there its rarely gettin used properly .

I would still do the same, at least on the first gank... Almost any game if you have jayce or fiora on your team it's like necessary to get them ahead as a jungler. I'm Plat so I'm still bad, but I'll probably gank them all at least once just so they won't cry. But I'll focus heavily on supporting the top lane.

ADCs are allergic to buying defensive, even against full AD, dont expect them to build Steelcaps or Deaths Dance... They wont!
Advance decision relay on advanced teamed which is not the same for silver and gold players so guess it not for me

I'm not playing ranked yet, but I believe that this win condition won't be reliable or even relevant in low elo games (where I will end up in).
Reason is you can't rely on the top laner using that advantage and that enemy will be stacking MR.
They stated that the guide were for those who hard stuck at diamond something like that cus u need to fix this micro mistake to win the game

It won't save me from the 4/12 Corki jungles that I get sometimes, but the best mentality for climbing is to realize what you could have done differently to win instead of lose, which this guide aims to fix.
Instead of waiting in the top side bush for Camille @ 7min, couldn't you instead take his blue, his gromp, dive and then scuttle? I say Gromp bc of its XP value.

Why wouldn't you play around bot? Yes they will stack mt but it doesn't matter if you get your bot fed. Jayce will win Camille becuase he is strong early game and furthermore, their botlane is pyke tristana which will destroy if left untouched

jayce just backed, Camille tp'd into lane. that means Camille can help reksai contest scuttle while jayce can't

the problem is when I play with my friends, they always ask for random ganks even they are not the win condition.
I just trained my friends to believe ganks are gifts from God and should not be asked for lightly kappa.
