Thank you for this awesome tutorial. You are super informative and easy to follow. You’ve addressed all the issues I have working with glitter and gems. I appreciate your personal opinions and experience. Keep the videos coming!
when you put the gel glitter on the hair and on beards, how does the client take it off later? I know i often recommend using some painters tape wrap around your finger and glitter will stick to it, easier to remove, but for hair, not sure.
OMG, I'm so excited & had to share! ... I just found a bundle of 3 full pots of Gypsy Shrine glitter on Poshmark! So, if you're ever looking for more, check there to see if any gals are clearing some out of their closets..
You are VERY right. I think I do too few public Halloween events with little kids and more adult face paint appointments so just don't use it much. Also, purple is my least favorite color so that doesn't help either.
Can anyone tell me exactly what the body wax is? Not the brand. And where else to purchase if you know? Unfortunately, when I try to research it, I can only find wax for removing hair
I'm getting ready for my first music festival where I am offering Glitter Tattoos and Face Painting and this video was so helpful! Thank you! A GIANT THANK YOU for including your price guide. I've only been face painting for a year and struggle with how much to charge. What I would like to see next: I would love it if you could show some examples of your work and tell us how much you charged for the different designs. I'm the only face painter for several hours so finding a base price in my small northern community is a bit of a challenge.
Hi, I actually did do a followup video showing some of the most common ways I do glitter designs. If you check my channel home page you should see it posted 2 videos later. Thanks!
Hi Ariel, I like your channel so much. I am new to face painting and I would like to try it myself. So would you please recommend some most useful tools for me very beginner, please. Thank you very much!❤
Hi. Thank you for watching and commenting. The video was getting so long so I didn't get a chance to list alternatives but appreciate you commenting so much and glad to know they work with BIO glitter.
Another question, at the 45.07min of the video, near the end, the A frame for your signage, where did you get that? what is it called (height and width) Merci :)
Hey, did you figure out the name of that gem adhesive you talked about? I don’t like mine, and I didn’t see your preference listed anywhere in the description or at your Amazon store. And thank you so much for this video! Oh! I would also love to know what that 1st big jar of glitter was called that you showed, from the company that no longer makes it. I know I probably can’t get it, but I really liked it! Thanks so much for all you do!
argh...no...I searched a few different sites and couldn't find it. Drives me nuts because it's the BEST. Mehron ad-gem adhesive works pretty well. I'll keep trying to find it. It pops up every now and then.
hi i’ve been learning for some years now mostly on youtube and all kind of social media but i can find a video about face painting and gem clusters meaning where and how and when do i apply gem cluster and in what designs , also i’ve seen the gems cluster with like a little unicorn horn i really don’t know when to put it or in what design can u maybe make a video about that that would really help me
did you mix your gypsy shrine loose glitter into a cream or wax base for over face paint? I have a lot of loose glitter and some are large flakes and wonder if I can mix them
Great video! I've been using Ecoglitter here in Eugene, Oregon where there are a lot of ecologically concerned folks. FYI, I have experimented with mixing Ecoglitter in the Art Factory clear gel base, and it starts to break down after a few days. I haven't tried the wax base yet though.
I also use eco glitter, I just mixed it with vaseline and it's not broken down at all. Obviously I can't apply it like that over paint as it will smudge. So I also just keep some loose to add to the wet paint which works great too.
Shop all of my favorite things in my Amazon store. Thanks for watching! www.amazon.com/shop/arielminervini

I'm so glad to hear that! Since I don't make as many videos I've been trying to make them very comprehensive and some a bit longer.
I think your gems are just fine "Lovely "

I just ordered a craft n go mini to make a glitter bar 🙌🏼 love this. Been watching you for years, always recommend your videos! Thank you for this
OH, Yay! I'm so glad. You'll have to send me a picture when you have it all setup.

Thank you so much. I appreciate you watching and commenting.
Thank you. This was jam packed with good information.
Glad it was helpful! Thanks for watching.
Would you mind to explain how much the price you charge per face. Thanks you x
Thank you Ariel. This is really helpful ❤
You're so welcome! I'm so glad it's helpful.

I have a few videos on beginning supplies and an amazon shopping list video. Those should help.
love your glitter kit, Andrea makes the best bling I took a class with her it was way too much fun
Thanks! She does…I need to get some more of them.
Can I get a link to her page to buy?
Fantastic video! Do you run into the problem of your glitter gels drying out?
No, they haven't dried out on me but I've heard of it happening.
New to ur channel and new to face painting world I'm starting out so I'm going through all Ur videos and watching everything just to get ideas
Welcome! There are lots of great face painting Facebook groups as well.
Amazing. Thank you
Glad you liked it! ☺️
Thank you so much for all your videos! I mix the loose glitter with petroleum jelly / petrolatum / vaseline, works also for bioglitter! 😊
Hi. Thank you for watching and commenting. The video was getting so long so I didn't get a chance to list alternatives but appreciate you commenting so much and glad to know they work with BIO glitter.
Does it affect water activated paint? It shouldn’t, right?
those nails tho.....wow!!
😊
What color was the paint you were using it’s beautiful
Hi. For what specifically?
Another question, at the 45.07min of the video, near the end, the A frame for your signage, where did you get that? what is it called (height and width) Merci :)
does it hold well with heavy sweating? Im searching for a good waterproof glitter for tropical climate and water party
The wax based does very well in the heat and pretty good in water but they are not designed to be "water proof".

Hi! 99% of the time the gem cluster goes in the center of the forward close to the eyes between the eyebrows. That's usually where I put them.
@@Arielpaints thank you

Most of mine are wax/cream but you can do gel if you want to. Either will work.
@@Arielpaintswhere do you get the bulk wax and cream? Thank you!
❤❤❤
Do you have a video in how to pricing for this kind of services
Not a separate video. Just this one.
Amerikan Body Art doesn't ship to Canada, booo.. any suggestions on another Company that sells chunky glitter, or the Glitter Creme??
That's too bad. Any of the other major face painting shops may ship to Canada and they carry a little everything.
I’m having the hardest time finding the wax and cream base.
Did you find your answer? Would you mind sharing? Thank you!
LG London website is defunct. Found her on Facebook and she closed up shop back in April. 🙁
Oh no!!!! I’m so sad to here this. She had some of the coolest glitter. 😞

Oh interesting!!! I’m so glad you commented about this as I would have NEVER thought of that. I imagine the wax wouldn’t but worth a test for sure.
