    Arrogance is a side effect of intelligence. It's essential to acknowledge that your intelligence is not solely a result of your efforts but rather a gift from Allah. Keeping this in mind can foster humility.
    Edit: obviously I mean a *bad* side effect.

    • @torontoyes
      @torontoyes 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +8

      True intelligence lies in recognizing one's own limitations as a human being. The greater the intelligence, the deeper the humility, as it brings a clear understanding of our finite nature. And in this realization, we acknowledge that everything we have and are, has been provided to us by Allah, not from ourselves.

That’s what destroyed the Jews and the Christians before us. May Allah increase our humility, humbleness and our kindness in this ummah. We have truth on our side but even Allah said this about Prophet Muhammad: 3:159 ( So by mercy from Allāh, [O Muḥammad], you were lenient with them. And if you had been rude [in speech] and harsh in heart, they would have disbanded from about you. So pardon them and ask forgiveness for them and consult them in the matter. MH is able to identify his own strengths and weaknesses. An arrogant person doesnt acknowledge any weakness or accept their wrong, so not to weaken their position in a debate. During debates MH has many times back tracked when wrong and makes it clear, "your right". Being able to clearly and passionately express truth with knowledge you have honed your entire life and continue to do so shows CONFIDENCE, not arrogance.

    The problem with us Muslims we have become afraid of speaking the truth and finding excuses to justify the bigotry questions, whereas the reality is that women wearing a skirt, gays, lesbians, and having sex before marriage is not the norm but an alien thing.
    But, Whether it be cousin marriage or arranged marriages those things are not in the minority but rather in the majority it's just we are getting brainwashed into thinking Western minority master is the right and the majority is in the wrong..
    And another thing we get quite often is Muslims are backward... Again. no in reality Muslims are the forward ones and the Western ideology/ mentality is going backward, the only modern thing about the Western world is their surroundings and other nonsense like having sex before marriage, gays, lesbians, prostitution, and women wearing next to nothing is nothing new but goes back to the cave days

      You need to cut our Muslim brothers and sisters some slack, post 9/11 we've been under a 24/7/365 media bombardment along with endless false flag operations, and mountains of cases of social engineering. As Muslims in the west, I feel we do have to walk with a certain arrogance when dealing with arrogant people. Similarly, showing humility and compassion should not be far away. When it comes to talking about our religion we can’t help but be arrogant to display our convictions. In the UK, you must be confident talking about Islam and you better be sure you have all the necessary knowledge and education to do this. I totally get his stance.

      @@sam-ht6qv I didn’t say David Wood you incompetent clown. I am not Christian anyway, though it has far more merit than Islam, both in doctrine/teachings and historically. If you look at the key figures, Jesus and Muhammad, one was a sex-slave owning murderous warlord who diddled 9 year old Aisha, whilst the other was close enough to sinless and taught: turn thy cheek, love thy neighbour and love thy enemy.
      Muhammad did all those things in spite of being called the most moral of men in the Quran and having Allah say nothing about his awful deeds, despite being ‘timeless, all-knowing and all-powerful’. Really makes you question if Muhammad was actually a deceiver or whether or not Allah is what he claims to be. Either way, it’s a massive contradiction that invalidates Islam entirely.

    He's not arrogant. When Allah gives you knowledge then you should have pride. The people hijab deals with are arrogant and doing kufr intentionally. Nothing will help them but someone who isn't afraid to show his strength.

    True intelligence lies in recognizing one's own limitations as a human being. The greater the intelligence, the deeper the humility, as it brings a clear understanding of our finite nature. And in this realization, we acknowledge that everything we have and are, has been provided to us by Allah, not from ourselves.

    'Abdullah bin Mas'ud (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:
    The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "He who has, in his heart, an ant's weight of arrogance will not enter Jannah." Someone said: "A man likes to wear beautiful clothes and shoes?" Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "Allah is Beautiful, He loves beauty. Arrogance means ridiculing and rejecting the Truth and despising people."
