DW’s Lukas Stege takes the test: On a scale from 1 to 10, how much spiciness can he take? Can sausage make him cry? 😭
Currywurst has been a popular snack since the late 1940s. Both locals and tourists love it. You can get it on every street corner in Germany. Bratwurst is eaten with a kind of ketchup sauce, sprinkled with curry powder.

i surprisingly passed by this place when I was in Berlin when I went there pre pandemic as a tourist. will try it again when I return.

Really love Currywurst, so it was interesting. Maybe would have been better with someone who actually liked bratwurst (i.e. not "vegan bratwurst") and really spicy food, but still interesting.
Agree with the bratwurst bit, but disgree with the really spicy - 8 is more than really spicy. And honestly the artificial nature of these extracts to get to 10 scoville numbers is pretty disgusting, it just tastes horrible.

Kudos to you Lukas.. In my Country it's almost impossible to eat without hot sauce. I'd say we have a tolerance to chili but I don't know it I can go as far as you did. Also, how come you have no water by your side especially as you are giving us feedback😳? pepper do go through the wrong way to the head even
