- Dying light 2 recently saw the addition of the fire arms update which is the biggest update dying light 2 has had and added guns, new board quests and missions and more to the game. This update came with the new edition of dying light 2 called the reloaded edition which allows you to get bloody ties and the firearms update for free. In this video we are going to be playing the update and reacting to the new content in the game. In my opinion this is the best update yet. Tho no tower raid or nightmare difficulty :(

I love how Aiden dodges the first swing the Bandits attempt on him. Really goes to show Techland are aware of all the times Aiden gets punched throughout the game. Plus some unique animations in the cutscenes. Well above what I was expecting

Update is good for me. I work graveyard shifts and sleep all day long, and nights off I have to stay awake all night and don’t wake up til midnight or 1 am. I’m good with grinding

You sleep at all on your nights off on graveyard your sleep schedule gets f’d up. That’s why updates like these are fine for me. I need something to kill 8 to 12 hours all night long since I don’t go to bed til noon or 2 pm depending on my work schedule
Lol. Ubisoft influence? 😂 but still looks like grind is almost optional to follow main storyline. That’s much better than some other games where you must level up before going forward

@@AXELVISSERS Not fixed. Changed. Outside of minor issues, there's already nothing to fix. There not being a dynamic day/night cycle isn't a bug.
Took me about 2 hours to get the Scorpio until I found out you have to cheese the challenge by slide jump spamming. The new electrical detonator thing is so cool lol its better than the fire one imo. Currently grinding until I get a shotgun. 8.5/10 update so far
To get the guns early change your time and date on your pc
Update is ass for 1 reason only. Actually unlocking the guns means you have to grind HOURS of the same 3 missions over and over to level up ur rp. Horrible system. With how little rp the challenges give and how you have to wait for only 225 every day, will literally take weeks tu unlock the gold guns
if you have been playing from day one it is even more painful
you dont have to grind through missions at all, you can pick up ammo at convoys

And every time I finish a mission the game bugs I go into god mode can’t do anything get mad and quit game
Did u expect techland to just drop all the guns in your stash? Guns weren't even supposed to be in this game according to the story but people like you kept whining about wanting guns cuz going up to a zombie and swinging a melee weapon is too much work for them. Now that you got them your still saying it's "ass" lmao.
You can get to level ten by messing with you systems date and time and it should refresh missions and weekly bonus. In Order to get lvl10 it took me like2 hours to reach it
The update is amazing there is just a small flaw is that they somehow fucked up gritty colour grading that was closest to E3

I actually really like this update. Only problem is not all zombies should look so new.

They surely have the old models still. We should just ask them to include those. I love all the new models, especially the hairy and bearded ones. They look incredibly realistic. But the more degraded old ones still fit the setting very well and should be among them as older infected.
What zombie? There’s hardly any zombies anymore. Before the there was a shit load now there ain’t nothing . If you’re lucky you can run into four at once but other then that there’s no zombies in the game anymore

I think another small but massive helpful update would be you know where the hud menu you can turn off infected health bars....i wish you could actually choose which type of infected to have health bars off and on for

The update destroyed the frame rate on Xbox Series S… ON PERFORMANCE MODE! And they didn’t adjust the Gritty Filter when making the new lighting🥲

How is the lighting now when I loaned the game about a year ago it was so dark in the day I couldn’t see the start of the game was near on impossible

Back in the day I installed a couple of mods in Dying Light 1 and turned it into FPS. To be honest, I was very satisfied with the result. I wonder if now I can do the same with DL2, now that guns are back on the menu.
I have a feeling the lighting is limited because it causes severe performance drops with the amount foliage and other details specifically. I've noticed going from DL1 to DL2 my system took a big hit from 130fps to 50fps. And I dropped all settings to low. So basically it looks worse than DL1 and runs worse too.

The new update it’s full of bugs on ps5 I can’t get past the part that you get the goods for Delta after completing it you are still stuck on the mission and doesn’t let you out I’ve restarted the mission but it keeps getting stuck on the same issue it’s really annoying guys any help?
I know people are entitled to their opinion but this has been the best update since day 1 dl2 and I loved doing the quests for the guns. The only thing that was weird was going to get the guns when having 2 already, BUT I think this will save dl2 but we will see. Well done to the dev teams. Good video too friend ❤ it

There are too many bug in the Survivor mission. I can’t exit after completing the mission. I have to force log out of the game and log in again. After logging in, I find that the mission and rewards I just did don’t count. This is bullshit.

As someone who got disappointed on Day 1 and refunded the game after the lies they said on the E3 reveal. I can say that this is ALMOST the thing I wanted.

It's a personal preference thing. Personally I like Harran Sunset as it reminds me of Dying Light 1.

I will say the I love the update and I wouldn’t even mind grinding for the guns but I literally can’t because the missions are broken for me and I’ve tried everything I can do to fix it. When I finish the mission it just won’t end so I can’t teleport anywhere or do anything so I just have to quit

Mine is a little bit on Xbox series s . When I paraglide and boost it bugs a little and then the weapons are still close to the screen even tho my fov is all the way up. Techland said they’re already aware of this and are going to fix it

I used to always have audio bugs and grey face issues. All of that is gone with this update and even pausing the game is seamless. It used to be buggy and freeze every single time

Guns are underpowered. Way faster to just use a melee weapon to kill zombies. Honestly think the whole game need to be rebalanced. Late game weapons all feel like they do similar damage.
Im not a fan of the new zombie models. Why can't we have both models? Now ALL the biter zombies look "fresh" and somewhat healthy and they all have that neutral closed-mouth look. Like they're just a bit annoyed by the virus...

I like these models way better than the other ones especially for the virals bc their supposed to be freshly infected anyways, i do wish they would put some decaying skeletal ones in though
The guns are mid, they are unbalanced in the sens of damage done in each difficulty. In easy and normal its ok i guess but in hard its unusable for how spongy volatiles are.
I think they should increase the damage a little bit and increase the firerate of the shotgun because its slow as hell for a semi automatic shotgun.
But in general the update is okay, very grindy for the new shop but some people can like that sort of things.

Ngl i bought this game again last night after beating it last year after seeing all the updates and good praise….yeah instantly refunded. I don’t really see the appeal this game really isn’t good if i’m being honest. Same old generic identical zombies with minor tweaks, but same ugly stiff animations. Boring ugly combat, idk maybe it’s just me. DL2 is just a whole miss to me.

So lemme explain, I'd rather have guns than not but it's just kind of annoying how you can't drop guns, you can't carry alot of ammo AND they don't do alot of damage, it wouldn't be a big deal if we didn't have to do a whole bunch of bounties to get coins to buy ammo, they suck at balancing tbh, im ngl I'm kinda disappointed. Its not even worth using guns over bows, how did they let bows be better 🤷♂️ its so inconvenient and it's the same gun models too I hope these all get fixed but I doubt it, also you cant even drop more arrows to carry more ammo stacks!*
Renegades also aren't scared of the guns even though jai said "be careful showing people you have a gun" you have to grind for 20 years just to get a gun that isnt even worth it, also it doesnt make sense lore wise for aiden to have to buy guns off of jai, WE HELPED HIM GET IT why do we only get a pistol from an ARMORY???
