Hey Dr. Michele - Great ideas! You've got me ready to apply to graduate school. Just NOT in dentistry. LOL I'll stick with my old Business Admin.

Yeah 🕺 I mean 😃 sometimes TH-cam channels/information ℹ can be a good tool to know what profession *not* to get in to. 😊
For example, in my case I wanted to be a police officer 👮. But seeing videos 📹 about various police chief's covering for - according to Me ☺️ - obvious misconduct and horrible events (again according to me ☺️), I decided that I was not able to do a career in the police academy. 😊
As a dentist you don't have to 🖐️ cuff your patients or put them to the ground. That's a big bonus. 😊
Of course 😃 I have seen good police work too. 😁 A man did a confession of a murder. The squad team was really professional with him during the proceedings. Great video 📹 in many aspects. 😊

I am considering becoming a dentist but I also want to study horticulture. Do you think an undergraduate degree in horticulture instead of biology will impact my chances of getting into dentistry school?

Hello Natali and thank you for watching my video! I think you would greatly benefit if you focus your undergraduate studies on the Some courses you will have to retake in dental school .are Anatomy, Pathology, Embryology, Genetics and Biochemistry. The curriculum in dental school is extremely intense and if you have no background in those courses, it will be more difficult for you. With that being said, it is not required for you have to have a Biology degree as several students in my graduating class did not. I would also suggest that they did not graduate at the top of our class, which meany they were likely not going to get into specialty programs like Orthodontics, Oral Surgery, etc
