It would be great if you did some back to basics investing and finance episodes like this one. This is perfect for introducing friends to the podcast!

Excellent review and highlights of "The Culture Playbook" from Cameron. Can't wait to grab a copy and learn more about it.

How about a "basics" series? Something we can send to those looking to learn about investing. Kind of like the crypto series

I am working on an investing basics (free) course which is basically this plus multiple choice questions after each video. Hopefully for early 2023.

This is *fantastic*. One of my favourite episodes of all time. Connected a lot of dots for me, brought a lot of clarity to things that were previously murky.

A very needed episode with a 10 minute intro about topics that an average beginner wouldn’t know what you’re talking about lol. Hopefully that intro doesn’t lose too many people

Great as always. May I suggest a playlist for newbie people? I land into your podcast after I already covered basic topic. But for a newbie should be hard to follow.

This is getting shared with some clients, great video, perfect video!! Just to confirm, such a good summary. I would love if you were both Aussie and could do break down of specific strategies such as negative gearing which I have been researching recently and it is very risky (has been 10% annualised losses over 10 years for an Aussie investing in the US)

How would that domestic bias affect European investors? considering there are (from what I've explored) more EU-wide ETFs I imagine that might affect the withdrawal rate if instead of domestic stocks you just invest in EU stocks.

more EU-wide than individual EU country*

We need another "Understanding Crypto" podcast.

Do we though? Its a deflationary "currency" with no fundamental value that is a greater fool scheme where the only way to make money is for other suckers to buy in after you, its a terrible store of value, terrible inflation hedge, and terrible means of exchange. It solves no problems other than how to scam, fraud, pump & dump, buy drugs and get money in and out of authoritarian countries. Ill give it that one, thats a problem it solves.

If there is anything that Ep. 226 with Col. Chris Hadfield, always be learning and acquiring new skills, even knowledge skills. Whether one intends to invest in Crypto or not, learning more about it is always edifying. Great cheers to the Ben and Cameron for all of their incredibly interesting and edifying broadcasts! I am personally thankful for all the learning! 👍
