I have been, and continue to be, a fan of Dave Aranda. I will view it as a major loss if he leaves. That said, I think there are some easy corrections he could make (that I won’t air here) that would really strengthen the BU program. This is his first head coaching position and that brings with it some new skills, less on the football side and more on the leadership/management/communication side. I hope they can make those types of adjustments because his football knowledge is still exceptional and Baylor is on the cusp of greatness! He has the best interests and growth of the young men under his tutelage as a primary emphasis which, as a father and grandfather, I value. Great job this week, coach!
