- I morphed a selection of Rembrandt's self-portraits. The song is Breath of Light, by String Theory
I am complimented by the many requests I receive regarding this video showing Rembrandt's life in self portraits. I am sorry to say that I do not provide the original files for use. If you want to use this video for educational or nonprofit purposes, and can present it via my TH-cam channel, then please do so. Magnifique Merci beaucoup bouleversant troublant ❤
GENIE...für die Nachwelt ❤
ohhhh wow this video is amazing, Rembrandt is my favorite Painter of all time. thank you
Спасибо! Хорошая работа. Хоть и грустно но красиво.
I am happy! You made Rembrandt a living person, my Saint is alive and a human being showing his lifetime. EXCELLENT !!!
maartje van lieshout, admirer of Rembrandt.
Only a master like Rembrandt could continue to inspire so many through the ages. I love him, too. Thanks for your kind words.
Intriguing to watch a young face mature into an experienced, wise, older face. The viewer can almost feel Rembrandt's journey through time.
Just now saw this posted on Twitter. Excellent work.
Wow! Quite a work of love. You must like his work very much. Thank you!
Lemurheart You have done a amazing with this well done the music complements it beautifully to ! 😄
Rembrandt's self-portraits evolve along with his appearance showcasing how his talent and personality develop in tandem. What a beautiful tribute! And the music is bellissimo.
eES REALMENTE HERMOSA LA PINTURA DE ESTE ARTISTA MEGUSTA MUCHISIMO ESTOY FELIZ DE VERLO
That was a great video! So moving and you could feel his life.
Beautiful. Thank you
very well done. I have created many morphs, and this takes a lots of work, especially when the head turns. I greatly enjoyed watching Rembrandt paint himself as the aged. A fine video, and interesting subject.
It has been like seeing Rembrandt alive in front of me, great job! Thanks for this little, wonderful miracle :)
Watched this in art class in middle school. I loved the music so much that I found it and have listened to the track on and off for years
Back again
I've watched this video many times; it was tastefully put together. It's moving to see the life of this icon of an age pass in just two and a half minutes. Most of us will go just as quickly without bequeathing such a legacy. Thanks lemurheart.
Was für ein Maler der hohen Künste
😊
great artist, great vid. peace for sharing.
A piece of art itself. Thank you for this tribute.
I am a long time Rembrandt fan and this link was sent by a friend. Thanks much for posting this wonderful summary of his portraits. My favorite is still the 1659 painting that hangs in the National Gallery or Art. I suspect we all have our own favorites and you have provided that for each of us.
piękne ... dziękuję -...
It's interesting to note how Rembrandt's portrayal of himself matures over the years. It looks like he began focusing merely on his personal appearance, but as he grew older, also added in his emotions as well. Perhaps I'm wrong, but that is what it appears to be to me! Thank you for your hard work in creating such a video, I really enjoyed seeing Rembrandt's artistry in such a clear form.
excellent my friend! Rembrandt was a true genius and master of painting.Modern art crap shall look back at old art and try to see the pitiful disgrace of what the art is today!
Impressive! It was his soul that I felt. Thanks.
This is fantastic! Very well done. I have it embedded in my website.
Es maravilloso. Un excelente video que retrata la vida de Rembrandt. La musica es genial.
absolutely brilliant! well done....
Wow! Amazing work you did. Captures characteristics of his genius.
Please please please lemurheart: could you make another of these marvels but this time using ALL his self-portraits in dated order? And possibly slowed down somewhat so that we can see the ageing process? It is truly beautiful.
This is AMAZING!!
Yu have really brought him to life!!
WELL DONE!!!!
Great Job!!!
brilliant .........what else can I say......
Breathtaking. Thank you.
Putting to-gather a morph must be a lot of work. I did a shattered effect with some of my art and found not all art lends itself to that pictorial technique. Your work is liquid and the art of Rembrandt is always compelling. Great job!
Stupendo!
Truly breathtaking - thank you
THE BEST GENIUS.
Wonderful tribute. Thank you.
thank you that was incredible!
Great idea well executed, thank you
Magnifique et émouvant !
1:22 is an absolutely incredible moment, like the camera is actually moving around him.
Thanks for this!!!
Maravilloso!!!
This is incredible!
Beautiful work!
I didn't know Rembrandt was so into selfies.
wow
really nice
cool
well done.
Meraviglioso
This is an almost miraculous example of a summary of the life of the artist,, told on his face. Thank you so much for it
intelligence; c'est félicitation!.............
Hey that's pretty neat. Although, the last morphing image of Rembrandt looks younger than the last two before this one. He was ending looking very fragile and senile and then BANG!! he finished looking like if he was back to 58 or so. (Maybe he got a facelift that slipped thru the fingers of historians? We will nerver know, Lol)
Well done!!! Whats the music???
So do I. Yet it seems we are a rather small group.
One of my favorites is de La Tour.
Keep enjoying the video.
Thanks. I used abrosoft's fantamorph :)
what's the song?
great paintings but what's the song?
please reply asap.
thank you very much. ^^
@vaporizer08 yes, baroque art does hold more beauty and detail than modern art, but modern art expresses much, much more, mainly because the modern artists and the world today is much more open-minded than Europe in the baroque period.
It's Breath of Light, by String Theory
he sure liked hats and he should have kept the tash it suited him.
not to exclude the fact that he ages dramatically in that moment as well
No his paintings were so clean that the toothpaste was named after him!
so this guy named himself after the toothpaste right?
Breath of Light by String Theory
0:25 Tom Hanks is that you?
Breath of Light, by String Theory
strepitoso
Oppa Gangnam Style
i think he was a bit vain....but it appears he metamorphasized into an old woman
Really? Rembrandt is often regarded as an artist who painted himself with out vanity. Maybe you don't like his hats.
Very interesting. The morphing tells us a lot about how he approached painting his amazing self portraits. Good job.
