I played my first game of this the other day and won on a retaliate :) very satisfying! I got very lucky, he didn't have any minor dark powers or extra hearts after death!
I don't know how I didn't watch this video until just now, but that was a great playthrough, and it makes me super happy I went all in on Season 2 of Final Girl! Can't wait to try it out myself.

can i just say how nice it is to see content of the game without all the bells and whistles!! I usually choose to spend my game budget on more games instead of premium components, but it does make playthroughs a little less relatable :)

I know this is way late, but he should have had 5 dice in his final roll because he would get +1 for the killer's revealed final health token too. Great playthrough!
Thanks so much for watching and for letting us know you liked it!! It was a blast. Unfortunately though, I don't believe that would be the case because the monster came back with 2 health, and since there was more than only that token left for the monster again, Max would still only roll 4 dice! Thankfully, it did not matter, and Max still slayed the monster in an epic final opportunity :)

i just got into the game ,loved your playthroug. i only have one question and i hope you can rember to answer me because its been a year after the upload. you specifically say in the video that you gat the zero cost cards back every turn and i think that is not correct , you should be the to the side in your discard pile and you cant purchace them until next turn. please let me know
That’s exactly the rule, and we definitely play it the way you are saying, so yes you got it! After using them, they stay unavailable the next turn, but then become available the following turn, and are free to take back because they cost zero.
I think when we say that, we are meaning you get the AVAILABLE zero cost cards back, not the ones you just used and are in the discard pile. I hope that clears things up.
Are You planning to do some more content on Final Girl, S3 currently on Kickstarter, good time to do it. Perhaps ranking solo games and ranking Final Girl feature films from S1 and S2 ?
We are hoping to cover some more final girl this month for sure! :) Just have to decide what that might be…
I may have been playing wrong, but doesn't the time marker reset to 6 after every turn?
It may have been cut out in trying to trim down the video length but, unless I’m mistaken, we played it that way! :)

Not really sure if they forgot about the minor dark power but it never got mentioned again. If this is the case then Hans still has 2 HP. Or i might have missed it.
At 26:40 Max hits him and takes care of that extra health, and Doolin mentions it!
I think I would like to try it nevertheless. Still hesitant to buying it.

Nice video, but don't you have to put the cards you played, like the free ones, into a sort of limbo so that you cant paly and refill those cards every turn?... Never mind, it looks like you do it, just didn't seem/sound like it during first couple turns.
We did :) it may not be obvious because of editing, but yes, that is correct!

You just need a friend to stand over you and coach you I guess! 😂 I hope since that first play you have enjoyed it!
@@TablenautsAfter about 4 play throughs I beat the game with Laurie. It came down to Hans attacking me and me using Retaliate. I rolled two dices for the success, and he had a blank token. I also had a blank token apparently so if he landed the attack I would have died. Funny how the game can end like that. Very climactic.
Shouldn’t you have gone back to Hans his lowest track? The icon has an loop back icon on it😅 nice playthrough 😊 I beat it on my first try but that was lucky😂
I haven’t read the rulebook (doolin did) but my understanding is it just repeats the final effect over and over again.

@@gideonvanzwieten6424 just gave it a look! Page 5, #10 “Final Effect: This is the effect that will repeatedly trigger when Bloodlust has reached its maximum level and continues to increase”

What’s up with no panic phase?!
So there was only one missed panic phase and it was because of a crazy movie halfway through after he killed and then sprinted across the map, but due to him never really murdering and then staying on a space with a victim, the game never really called for one!
Tooooo bad I don't like horror... I am to easily scared... or maybe good for my wallet. thanks for the playthrough
