@@toot1st105 depends. solo will weaken the boss in comparison. so if you are stuck getting weaker teams, you are better off trying it solo.
It's kinda frustrating that I technically did figure out the boss fight but the heal is just that absurd. I found my way to this video thinking "I HAVE to be missing something. Is my damage just trash?" but uhh nope. The boss is just dumb lol Thanks for the advice! awesome vid
I was able to beat him after about 20 tries when I finally landed in a group of OP people who blew him away super fast :) The heal is the worst when people don't know how do play
@@timkline162 yeah, the heal is insane, there's me usually trying to take out all of the pylons on my own while my teammates kill the little enemies lol

I really dislike game mechanics where success depends on teamwork with randoms
I do much better soloing this thing than with a team, but I can never get all 4 regens in time. I can't get better gear without beating him, I can't beat him without better gear.
I'm not remotely saying it's impossible but it makes me not wanna play just due to the heavy reliance on randoms, I do far better by myself but every time I get him to that last 10-15% health he just keeps regen'ing. It really feels like folks just screw around in this fight to grief others, half the teammates I get will not attempt to destroy the regen orbs.

Use bunny put shock enhancement on all weapons. Use the thunder cage which you should have or any gun that has electric damage rolled onto it. Upgrade your modules for fire power and weak point damage and you’ll sweep I did it no problem first try solo but I couldn’t do it with team.
Maybe this game isnt for you then...
If yall need an easier way do it solo with bunny, just constantly stay under him and spam jump and use bunny’s ring

i did it tried 20 time in team cant even get pass the heals try solo once with bunny lvl 36 and 0 poison rez did it very easely

Even when everyone was targeting those pylons he heals so fast
I went with a really strong shotgun just for the pylons. It helped me to take down those pylons by myself while the teammates focused on the other ones. Ofc getting that damn ammo for the shotgun is gonna be a factor

@@toot1st105 exactly what I said lol it took me a good 20 25 tries to defeat that boss. I had like 12 ammo when I entered the arena it takes 4 shots to destroy one pylon and I got 6 more during the fight. You can only allow it to heal 2 times. First after taking all its armour and second 50 percent or below health. Otherwise times just gonna run out

Not being able to easily solo it due to the health regen is demotivating. They should scale the healing depending on the number of players. I don't mind that he heals a little bit, but full health and sheilds is just ridiculous. I'm loving this game so far, but this might make me stop playing. I absolutely refuse to play with randoms. I'm a solo only player.
Update: I beat him solo with a level 26 Bunny and level 53 weapons. My strat to beating it was using the heavy ammo on the symbiote things and building for high crit.
3 days now i still cant find a group to beat him and I can’t do it solo either :(

He also keeps walking inside the bubble and standing on the machine so you can't shoot it
Thanks for this realistic video. It's annoying seeing all these content creators who have over leveled Max builds saying this boss isn't that hard. For normal people who only play a couple hours a day, these Intercept fights are ridiculous
@@jaredv5692 yeah, I made videos on a lot of these bosses as I was levelling also, so I was on par with the bosses. A lot of youtubers will just make it look easy for views

Been doing this fight for 8 hours
Did him with Enzo. The bonus heavy and popping ult when bubbles pop up for everyone to get some extra dps helps a ton.
A specific guide would be helpful. Specific weapons, builds, mods, etc. Matchmaking sucks, there's always someone under leveled that has zero idea what to do. Stopping or slowing the health regen and shooting the pylons is the issue. Having enough ammo even with 3 primary weapons is an issue.
Guess this where I'm stuck at. I don't have the skill (issue) to solo, i don't even get close to stopping him from healing everything and groups aren't any better. Welp this game was fun while it lasted.

I hate how you can't farm the materials for the thing to increase capacity or forma until later in the game I barely have room to fit half of the mods
max your shock punch if on bunny it will give you more mod space

To fix this boss all they need to do is
1) reduce the amount of heal he gets for the canasters
Or reduce the amount on the field
2). During his im invincibility phase make it so he can’t move but launches his usual missile attacks
3). Change the whole mechanic on his attacks they are horrible to work with
This game is truly the definition of a community style game
People will totally help each other out with no chat or communication even.
Just gamers who wanna enjoy this really good game together and have fun because its challenging bosses and just one more run type gameplay

This isn't something to really celebrate this boss is beyond stupid massive bullet sponge that also heals basically all of its go back if you aren't perfect and is required to progress the story to make it easier meaning when you hit the boss your stuck at your current level until you beat it
holy cow... thanks for saying poison resist is absolutely manditory. I hardly died on bunny while every other bunny i saw would floor most of the round, because i had enough poison resist.

I just came from a match where the boss basically group is up at one machine and killed all of us at the same time

I want to share a trick to defeat those bosses and advance on the strong if you do matchmaking the bosses will be very powerful so try private match and go solo the difficulty is very low and will match your strength just fight from range and learn the mechanic solo it’s very easy
Tried 6 times with randoms and it didn't work. So i tried solo.. Did it first try with Valby. It's so much easier since everything is way less tanky and you have more time. Highly recommend just soloing him if you have to do him for the story.

Just so you all know you can solo it way easier you just have to makes sure you go in with things that can hit their weak points Hard and Ajax is yoked

Literally the only enemy that requires everyone in the party to spec a certain way. Terrible design. I was thourouhly enjoying the game to this point. I still currently stuck on the guy.

Just solod hard mode devour 😊 was pretty stoke only took 3 tries but it was very enjoyable

Devourer is easy once you see how the fight is done a few times, just watch a few TH-cam videos. All you really need is a ton of HP, Def and Toxic resistance. Get those mods as high as you can and leave some room for a few more mods too. I think I had almost 4000 toxic resistance which is way overkill for normal mode. I barely took any damage from his poison. Same with your reactor too. Just stack Def & HP. I killed this boss on the first try last night with a group of 4 randoms. All of us were equal in level and power. Only one person died but I was able to rez them pretty quickly with bunny because of how fast she can sprint across the battlefield. As for weapons I just used the Tamer, Ultimate launcher & a beam weapon. Again, just stack as much damage as you can. If you can squeeze in Electric enhancement, go for that too. The only hard part about the fight is when he drops the healing pods. Like others have suggested save your heavy weapon ammo for the pods to burn them down fast. Also get the mod that reduces boss regeneration as that will make this fight 100x easier. Hope this helps.

Beated it on solo. Bunny (2 modules), tamer (3 modules). No, no toxic res cause I scrapped my only one damn.. but compared to the bride, it was way more easier
I am about to quit this game. Devourer is just a dumb boss. Toxin Antibody, I do not have that module, how can I get this module. Says in my Game, I own it, but I can not place it on my Bunny. I am level 40 with her, I have the Thunder to Level 50 and I can not beat this boss. I have tried countless times. This module is so important, HOW THE FUCK DO YOU FIND IT? it is not in Sterile Land.
It can drop from enemies in Kingston.
If you press your map button, scroll left to access info, go to modules, find any module you want (use the search bar on the right) then press acquisition info, you can see everywhere a module can drop from

Forget the toxic resistance HP is king my Ajax has 20k HP no toxic resistance and he tanks all hard mode bosses attacks easily

Hard disagree about poison. I just tried devourer this morning and almost got it. Failed twice now.
I have no toxic resist. I do more damage than your doing by a small margin so we are probably similarly leveled.
HP and Def mods are both 2 or so levels higher than yours and I had zero issue even on funny. Move and grapple. Reposition.
I only ever was knocked by poision once in the 2 attempts. Groups wouldnt lill the damn heal orbs.

this whole fight is fucking bullshit....you make it a requirement to beat this bullshit to progress the campaign...and like you said, its hard to do anything if you are at the same level...but you can't be past the level unless you beat this fucking trash boss. honestly done with the game at this point.
Play it solo you’ll sweep the boss of you can’t do solo your build is the problem gotta upgrade modules.

I hope they remove the healing pods is the WORST thing in the entire battle, the fact that it’s not even a difficult boss to figure out, it’s the HEALING pods that ruin the whole run
