    Does the solar breaker at the panel backfeed electricity, or does it power the inverter?

      Back feeding happens at the meter. The breaker is to cut the solar power going into your panel. Theres also a disconnect between the panel and the solar system so you can shut it off there. But you need a breaker to feed the power into the house.

    Meaning you still need your electric company.......why do electric companies pay people to go solar .....how do banks work..........

      It's in the interest of the power company for people to go solar because whenever a PV array is producing surplus, the power company has a source of energy which is cheaper for them to buy from you than it is to burn fuels to produce.

    One thing you might want to go over- which you might already do in a different video- is how this system changes using micro inverters.
    I’ve had several customers that do their research and insisted on going that route.

    So using this solar breaker instead of splicing in the meter box is available? how big of a system can I do? is it just a normal 2 pull breakers nothing special? Just have to be at the end?

    How does it go from inverter to panel without back feeding?

      My info is that the inverter pulls power and not the panels pushing power to the Inverter. Hope this explanation helps.

      DC power runs from the panels to the inverter. The inverter inverts the DC to AC power which is ran to a meter. From the meter it goes into a disconnect which is fed into your panel. The flow of DC power starts at the panels and stops at the inverter, then the inverted power flows into a disconnect. ON the other end you have AC power from your panel flowing towards the solar system. it stops at the same disconnect and that's usually where the power will meet. The inverter will never flow power into the panels it goes the other way.

    If I wanted to add an "Limiter" to make sure no power goes back on the grid..... ????

      if you produce more power then you need it will always go back to the grid. You cannot save the extra energy unless you have a battery or something.
