This is awesome I posted a question about this on the Forums and now this video shows me exactly how to do what I wanted to do. Wish I knew the video existed before

Thank you so much! I've been killing myself for several hours to find the way of adding additional hotspots to my object! And here it is in your tutorial!)))
Carlos - It is possible to make the text moveable, however it takes some very precise GDL coding to create the offset parameters and tie them into an editable / stretchable hotspot. I've done it on occasion, it always takes me a while to figure it out again from the manual, since I don't do it often.
Hi Eric... nice presentation... very helpful.. Just wondering, if we work in teamwork, are these material can be locked so other team member can't make change of the material? thank you. Best regards, kevin
Hi there Eric! I am working in an Architectural firm that will soon switch to Archicad. We are trying to figure out things before we start. My question is this: Let' assume you have the same window repeated 12 times on a building. You create the window as an object and add it to the Library. Then you place that object on the 12 different locations. If for some reason we decide to change the window type (let's assume that wall opening remains the same), what is the way to change them all together? Go to the library and change the saved object? Will that change all the 12 windows? Since this is something that often has to be done in projects, what is the procedure? Have you done a tutorial about this subject? Thank you in advance, Antony
Thank you Eric for your ""simple but into the point tutorials!... Your videos are really helpful and saved me too many times... I sketched a simple rectangle with a text inside but when I change the dimensions of the my object also distorts the text!....I wonder what I am doing wrong.... Your help would be precious to me.... Thank you in advance..
excuse me, but when i create the parameter of text and replace it in the script the scale not can be change any more, i have the archicad 15. thank you again

And the same thing happen with a lot of other things, like walls, i can't change them to "non-load bearing element or load-bearing element" they keep on "undefined" no matter how many times i change it they always go back to the default..
