I get it Saint destroyed his potential career but Shin also decided to join a gang even though he knew he wanted to be more than that in life. So technically he knew of the consequences of leaving the gang. You can see the devastation on Saint face when he heard the crack of Shin ankle breaking. This show is the best "Non-BL" "BL" I have ever watched.
Yeah but I think the main reason that he's angry was because Saint disappeared when he needed him the most, it's so obvious from the way he said it. He also said it's too late for him to make up for what he did meaning he could've had the chance if he didn't just disappeared like that. I mean Saint also made a promise that he'll never ditch Shin so where he is coming from is vv understandable besides Saint is still v wrong to take out his anger while beating up Shin, it was supposed to be a common tradition inside the gang where no one gets hurt that much but instead he let his emotions control him and got too rough resulting to an unwanted damage. Guilt really makes us run away, but that's his best friend does it even kill to just be in his presence? Importantly when he needs help? I mean he even made a promise too he should've just kept it instead of running away. Shin must've felt the worse by then I mean his dream is destroyed then at the same time he also lost his bestfriend if that was me I wouldn't be able to take it well. The only reason he joined the gang anyways was because he wanted Saint to stay out of trouble but he gets this? I feel so bad for him honestly 😭
@VGo-xu6kq no I get that he was hurt by his friend not being there for him during the loss. But I don't think as much as Saint was angry he never intended to cause that much damage and in his mind Shin would never want to see him again and it seems they both avoided one another over the years so they both probably played a part in not reconciling since the incident.
They are litteraly teenagers and grew up together, Shin would obviously join his best friend's gang despite how much of a trouble kid Saint was. And it's not like it was some sort of criminal gang, it's a bunch of school kids fighting. Shin being involved with them doesn't justify what happened to him in any way. Their little "tradition" was never supposed to go that far. A physical injury preventing you to pursue a sport career isn't a small thing either, it's life changing and very damaging. If that happened to any of us, I'm sure we would never let the one responsible for that enter our lives again. Lastly, just like the commenter above said, the worst thing about all of that is Saint running away instead of taking responsibility which hurts even more. When you're hurt by someone important to you, a part of you hope that maybe, just maybe, they can say sorry and give you a good reason to forgive them.
After knowing their past, I think we got a series the main characters deeply in love each other haha ironically in a not bl series. In their past, Saint hurt Shin's leg, he was too guilty to face Shin, and he thought Shin will never forgive him, so he left, when we hurt the one we love, the trauma normally will amplify and back to ourselves, and that time they all teens, so this really can understand, but Shin's love for Saint deeper than Saint can imagine, Saint's leaving turned out to be the most hurtful thing for Shin, not the broken leg or soccer dream. The thought that Shin will never forgive him, he need to leave, even never see him again, actually the most insulting for Shin, bc they should be together no matter what happen, so this actually the betrayal that Shin angry about, Saint totally wrong about this. They both really important in each others life, that's why the tragedy more tragedy, and both actors portray the characters so well, their expression really detail.
I'm living for your reactions of HSF! I've never seen a show with more underlying BL tones from the music to the dialogue to the looks. If they wanted us to believe this was not intended as a BL, they would have put a love interest for either of them.
If this is friendship then i don't know what love is 😭. Also the male actor of the korean version who plays namson (saint) said in the interview that he thought it was love story.😂
'all I want is you infront of me, I don't need another cause you always gonna be my home' line destroyed me

It’s hard to believe that this is not a BL series but the dialogue between them is more colorful as the rainbow 🌈
@richarddelacruz8417 ikr lol
