Got Rho moved up pretty far at the start thanks to the mortar team not fleeing, so not entirely repeatable but you can still achieve much the same result even if Rho doesn't get the few extra hits in. Seems pretty hard to keep Sho's drones alive and again I think Anuphet would be a much safer and better bet but I'm just working with what I have. Perhaps the positioning of Sho could be worked on, it was by no means an established strategy.
have been lookint for a good mech team youtuber. i do so many things differently that when i saw you doing them i felt like an idiot lol can you explain the spore mine positioning? i use galation, was tge spore mine doing anything meaningful. when i use him it just triggers the overwatch and kills my dudes. cheers if you do find time to reply
When the tank has the choice between turning in two different directions, I'll put a spore mine in the path I want it to follow to improve the odds of it going that way - the tank's movement seems to often be decided by maximising the number of things it can run over in the following turn (provided they don't move out of the way). In the third turn I also put a spore mine next to Sho'syl to prevent him from spawning his sniper drone into the path of the tank, as he has an annoying habit of doing that. Manipulating where Sho spawns drones is unfortunately something you have to do often because of how stupid his AI is. Aside from that, not much else to say - the first spore mine was to draw the guardsman into a position where a Skitarius could kill him without setting off overwatch or running into the path of the tank.
