I live in the US - I started taking gold more seriously this year and the 2 full ounce coins I bought were Britannias. They're beautiful and are cheaper than US gold - perfect for stacking
That awesome and really nice to hear. Well done on your investments. I didn’t know they were cheaper then US gold 🔥
The premiums are cheaper at all times on the Brittania as the Buffalos and Liberty's are by far the most popular in the US. Also, they are easier to liquidate. That said, gold is gold, and I will take that discount for my stack.
Absolutely brilliant review. Tavex are very lucky to have you buddy 👍
I am a first time viewer of your channel and found your comments very interesting, helpful and nicely presented.
Will look up your videos again.
Best wishes.
Oh wow, that’s a lovely comment. Thankyou so much! Glad you’re be back to watch again. Hope you enjoy.
I definitely recommend for people to become members as the full portfolio reveal video is great!
I have a 2022 with Elizabeth. It is a beautiful coin, but a Liberty Head Double Eagle with full glory is a nicer reverse and any obverse without Chuck’s mug on it looks better, IMHO.
In recent history, the King of England does not feature a crown on general coinage so it would be a break with tradition to start with KCIII.
True. I still think it’s a shame he doesn’t wear a crown on them however
Really like the obverse. The reverse… not so much.
PMs are PMs but I'm partial to the 2022s (the year of her actual passing) I've been trying to gather more 2022 Silver Sovereigns from the UK, Canada, Australia and St. Helena just for that purpose of preference. Though it hasn't stopped me from collecting 2023 Silver Britannias and Coronations... I'll eventually get some Gold 2023s and 2024s.
That’s a good point. 2022’s could prove to be more desirable for that reason. Great thinking 🔥
Great video. Noob question. Are the coins on card and capsule exactly the same apart from the presentation?
Nice 👍👌
Disagree about the crowned portrait.
The people who bought the proof sovereigns, SOTD, coronation coins/sets thought they were buying a unique investment piece only to have the value watered down by the release of the bullion with Portrait.
On the other hand, the RM certainly know how to ‘milk’ a range or event.
Very good point, I hadn’t thought of that. And yes, You’re right. They do know how to kill a series set. Thanks for watching Nick 🔥

YES, IT'S CRYSTAL CLEAR NOW, R.M. ARE TRYING TO MILK WE CUSTOMERS DRY WITH SUCH CALLOUS IMPUDENCE, CONTEMPT & DISREGARD.
I FOR ONE, CEASED DOING ANY BUSINESS WITH THEM (WHICH B.T.W. WAS CONSIDERABLE) SINCE ABOUT 6MTHS AGO & I HAVE NO INTENTION OF REVERSING MY DECISION.
WHOEVER IS CALLING THE SHOTS THERE RE THEIR MARKETING, PRODUCTION & CUSTOMER RELATIONS IS WAY, WAY OFF THE MARK & GREATLY HARMING R.M's REPUTATION WORLDWIDE! THEIR BOARD NEED TO GET THEIR HEADS & THINKING OUT FROM DEEP UP THEIR BACKSIDES ((PUTTING IT POLITELY).
I SUGGEST READERS OF THIS ARTICLE DO THE SAME.
Ive bought all the recent alternative designs soverigns and 1/4 and full oz britannias of recent years. Typically alternative designs command a little more money as new collectors who weren't around at the time try to complete sets .
Just got my 2024 1 and 1/10oz with a 1/4oz to follow. This is number 7 in the Britannia run plus the Coronation one. You just to have them in your collection but not my favourite... You do need the Austrian Phili and the US Buffalo but that one hurts cos of the premiums!
Hi David. Wow, that’s awesome. Sounds like you’re building a great stack!
They are just stunning bullion full stop. Thanks for sharing
@@Johnnys_World859 Haha! If only! I have to send them back.. 🥲
Like #15 great video FI another 1 that will be hard for you to send back!
Loving the turquoise member badge next to your name mate. And indeed. I want it.. lol
Hello any chances you could provide me with a link for that direct fit capsule ? TIA
I can't think of any sovs (excluding the current coronation sov) with the king wearing a crown. I'd say it's more traditional to have an uncrowned king.
Where did you buy that coin capsule that holds multiple coins? (8:20) Can you send a link?
No mistake was made about the crown. King Charles himself decided to not put a crown on the coins. Great video mate
It is traditional for the King on United Kingdom coinage not to wear a crown. The late Queen wore a diadem not a crown. The King will be wearing a crown on most medals.
So does 1/4 oz gold britannias ping or am I just not doing things right
I do find it strange why they are releasing these coins with Charles not crowned
I have not bought a one oz Britannia. Many people say they won't buy one with the King on it. Is this the case in the UK?
@@SyTheSoundmanAgreed Sy! I like him, I think he’s modernised the look of the King role. He’s much more friendly.😊
@@FutureInvestmentsBullion Yep, he's definitley a sensitive soul. I read silly, misinformed comments about him on lots of channels.
@@CashAndCoinsYT
Partly true...but it's more complicated than that!
Can't say much else about this publically but Charles isn't the most popular person for reasons you will be able to work out. He dies have some pleasing qualities but let's say not quite enough of them.
Best wishes.
Not buying jusy yet... Fomo is not my thing and am using the opportunity to pick up reduced price and pre owned plus 2023 coins where dealers are looking to clear stock they look great tho for 2024 👍👍
I dont believe there has been a crowned king on a british coin in over 300 years discounting the silly coronation rounds which makes those crowned 2023 Brittannias very valuable IMO. The royal mint should definately NOT produce any more crowned king coins! ANd why would you do it with that putz anyway?
UK Male.monachs don't typically wear head wear on coins/stamps. if they do it tends to be far later in their reign , which judging by the kings age he is unlikely to get to .
UK Male monachs dont wear headware on portraits ... If they do its far later in reign like 25 years plus in. The royal family is full of centuries old traditions
You’re not wrong. I just think he would look better on all the coins with a crown.
@@FutureInvestmentsBullion well if Charlie gets to 25 years as king you may well see it, but not sure he will get to 100 +
First!
I won't touch the 2023 dated Britannia's featuring QE2. Why, She died in September 2022 and the coins are in bad taste and were issued by the Royal Mint to save smelting costs.
@@lukespooky Marketing them after her death showing an impossible date.
my advice and this is very important....
1. buy a big bottle of whiskey a pair of y fronts preferably brown and some flip flops
2. get drunk
3. take all your gold out of the blister packs and coin cases and have a good feel of the yellow stuff whilst throwing all your gold over yourself drunk wearing y fronts and flip flop....in short become scrooge meduck for a day
