In the PS1 port, all of the characters you face when you play as Heihachi were sub-bosses but when you reached the final stage, the boss is Devil Kazuya aka the third Kazuya costume that you unlocked after you beat all 8 stages of Galaga.
The playable version of Heihachi in the PS1 version also suffered significant damage nerfs, in all honest I think Tekken 1 is the only game of the bunch that is actually harder on the PS1 Ultra Hard than the Arcade default difficulty. In the PS1 version the boss Heihachi can easily kill you from a juggle, but when you play as him he's basically weaker than Kazuya.
The "Round __" announcer is fine. The "Fight~!" announcer though . . . . . . must have been a sick day. 4:22 you know, I was going to say this would be a great time to learn 10 hit combos in the comment section too. Way to ruin my fun. Also, I was unaware he had his back dash run in Tekken 1. Haven't seen it yet.
Haha i remember seeing this at a friends house when it came out. I kept trying Ryu's fireball and Dragon Punch and accidentally hit it once with Kazuya. Needless to say i got my ass kicked all over the place
Heihachi's best middle opponent is suitable for Kazuya Mishima, after that Heihachi's final opponent is suitable for Devil Kazuya in this Tekken the first.

I love how Heihachi's portrait looks like he's barely awake
They kept his fighting animations throughout the years. This was so nice to see in Tekken 7
Got to admit, his character select animation does look a bit creepy.
For me looks fun hahahahaa
They all do lolol
Heihachi looked like he took a picture during character select
Hmm, Tekken 1.
Back when Heihachi (and Ganryu) sounded like a Jack robot...
And Kuma sounded like Armor King who sounded a lot like King

Yeah I agree
Creepy game I don’t think I’ve ever seen tekken 1
Especially creepy at Monument Valley with that music.
Who the hell did the music to this I wonder

Idk when I did his deathfist and hammerfist and dragon uppercut I was killing ppl really easily
In the Ps1 version Heihachi fought the sub bosses and the last stage is Devil Kazuya

HEYhachi Mishima!
Wow, even back then King had that drill kip-up that's easier to hit with but death on block.

How did you highlight him that was almost a weird glitch

Definitely get it back on the PlayStation 5
Heihachi had kazuya move set?
