Greenlight makes really nice castings but Autoworld has opening parts on every car (except the Deluxe series) and far too many new Greenlight castings do not. It's a big reason why I stopped collecting GL. Also, in my experience, Auto World and Greenlight sell for near identical prices at Target, Walmart, and Hobby Lobby.
Great set of castings! Glad to hang out with ya, I collect quite a bit of Greenlight myself. Mostly police vehicles, but I like their Broncos and Trucks as well.😁❤👍Have a Merry one and Cheers!🎄🎊☃
Ah, so Greenlight is finally addressing the QC problem of their models. Never too late I guess 😂. Hopefully it will stay like the ones you show on this video for now on 🍀. Awesome cars!
Awesome showcase as always, definitely excited about that Suburban casting! Maybe you could set up a camp ground in the ex-junkyard with all your Great Outdoors models & their accessories, especially if you happen to add a couple of RV from the HD series & some cars with campers from the Hitch & Tow. Happy holidays, all the best!
I think greenlight models are incredible i just bought the blue collar 1975 Ford Ranger because i love the original look with canopy as a handyman vehicle for my diarama broncos,🐎are my favourite i also just bought greenlight Smokey the bear 🐻 Bronco cost me $36 for the pair love your videos 👍 cheers Stephen 🤠⭐🦅🐎
Ever since "TH-cam" channels, such as your good self for many years that have been displaying and reviewing various die cast brands such as "Greenlight" the manufacturers have definitely vastly improved the quality of the end product that ends up in stores world wide. That's why all of your featured "Greenlight" castings of recent months appear in such terrific high quality. Thanks, great presentation all round well done!!!!
Thank you! I agree, the products have come a long way and a big thank you to all my viewers who have supported me by watching my videos (and other TH-camrs vids) but also having an opinion in the comments section as well as at the store with their wallets!
Great video and choices I’ll be betting Greenlight is very grateful for your reviews as I am sure there has been an uptick in business because of your positivity and high praise for their products. I know I pick them up when I see a display. Problem here is the retail outlets that could sell them have been closing and moving out of the city.
Lovely setup. I never got into Greenlight. OJ edition of the Bronco! :) So much vintage JL, I put the brakes on Collecting several years ago when the realization came I'd have to off them for pennies on the dollar or simply get rid of them. Most don't want open examples, yet that's when the hobby was fun.
Thank you very much! I try not to concern myself with the value of the collection, but I can see why many would when collecting cars. Especially a lot of cars. The old motto, only collect what you enjoy, always rings true!
If your first thought collecting cars is "how am I going to sell all this" - then you shouldn't be collecting. I've been a collector all my life, but after losing all my cars in a yard sale in 2002 I became a collector again in 2012 and am still going with several thousand cars. I collect both loose and carded, brand new and very old, cheap chinese junk and high ends like schuco and siku, i pick up a bit of everything.
@@MrWolfSnack Not the point at all, never gave that a thought collecting as a child & always thought I'd have someone to pass them down to. I've already given away much of what I don't want often breaking up complete years or sets. At some point in your life you realize though, what is going to happen to all this. Nothing wrong with that. In the 90's collecting became a craze, before that many just considered them toys.
Hey Canadaman glad you back with showing us more of your awesome I love to find the lowriders and truck series.Im sending full peg vibes to you until the next video take care Merry Christmas too.
I really like the trucks from Greenlight. A majority of my collection is consisted of Dodge and RAM trucks. You have great bunch of vehicles there. By the way, I took notice to your wall cases. Would you be able to let me know the manufacturer and where to get them? Be safe and God Bless.
They definitely should've put a picture of the highway chase on the O.J.Simpson white Ford Bronco package 😂. Pretty sure he single handedly killed the sales of Ford Broncos that year😂
Well this is good to see that they have a better Quality Control with the wheels. That GMC Jimmy wasn't rolling too good. But the others were. I stopped buying GL due to this fact. If it doesn't roll right, it is sh*t. Big props for the roll test you perform. Thank you
2:20 holy crap i just got that car at dollar tree today! I clicked on this video as it was next in my backlog of videos to watch, and what do you know, there it is. funny coincidence.
I like all those trucks. I just DON'T like the painted lights, ugh. They need to have inserts in all the vehicles that Greenlight makes. I really want that O J Simpsons Bronco. I just got the new M2 Dodge truck six pack. Its a great set. I live 3hrs east of you in Trenton, Ontario
Also with how fast Greenlight got the models whipped into shape leads to the question that if they could do it all along just that simply - why didn't they? Did they just not care? Was the machinery worn out and junky? Did the old CEO just want to milk as much money as possible from people while throwing the quality down the drain? I really do hope this is an American success story and the new CEO gets the company saved from the junkyard and put back on the right track to what they need to be.
Greenlight has definitely not been a quality brand over the years. The older stuff was great but the stuff for the past almost 10 years has been horrible quality. They actually just got bought out last year and the new owner and team seem to be much more dedicated to quality, which gets me more excited to collect them!
I am collector, although I like to joke that I am a hoarder of diecast... which I know doesn't actually make sense since my diecast cars have value and are well organized in my collection... LOL
They did an excellent job with the suburban. No manufacturer has made a decent Suburban until Greenlight’s offering. Great video
I'm now in the happiest time with GreenLight models after a long time bought lots bad QC from them. Cheer for this big change~
I've got the Cadillac too, haven't opened it, but now I have too. Greenlight has come a long way in quality.
Looks like Greenlight have really upped their game - almost as good as Autoworld Premium but at half the price!

These new Greenlight trucks are nice! That 1946 Power Wagon is the HEAT!!! Merry Christmas to you my friend ⛄🌲🎅!!
We had a ‘75 Ford single cab. Truck survived a deer hitting it across the front. New grill, bumper, hood and radiator and good to go.
Built Ford tough, solid
old iron!

Great stuff O-Dawg! I can’t believe the elevation in quality. Great to see.
Merry Christmas pal. All the best for the holidays.
Those trucks look amazing 👏🤩👏😆 thanks for sharing 😉👍
Another great selection of Greenlight. Thanks for sharing. Hope you have a good Christmas 🎄
I picked up the greenlight showroom floor series 4 at the Casselberry target
The yellow pick-up is most definitely "eye-candy" Some greenlights roll better than others.

Awesome haul bro
They definitely should've put a picture of the highway chase on the O.J.Simpson white Ford Bronco package 😂. Pretty sure he single handedly killed the sales of Ford Broncos that year😂
The white bronco reminds me of the OJ Simpson chase.

Getting to be a rare truck irl (of that generation)

Just curious do you have any green light fifth wheel that you do not use at all
No, can't say that I do...
What is the bigger truck series called?
There is Greenlight HD Trucks and SD Trucks series (the bigger ones)
Is it me or do the tires on these trucks seem too wide for scale? Johnny Lightning was notorious for off scale tires that were way too wide.
The tires are not always an accurate size or width, but there are many variations and customizing the wheels is very easy and cheap to do.
How can you tell 1/64 scale?
Rolls really nice, proceeds to roll the car and it doesn't even roll, says there's Chrome missing on the bumper but that's not a flaw,ok gotcha
Timestamp?
horder or collector im confused lol
I am collector, although I like to joke that I am a hoarder of diecast... which I know doesn't actually make sense since my diecast cars have value and are well organized in my collection... LOL
i tend to collect larger scale and rc models but iv grown fond of old hotwheels and greenlight@@wtffor
marianne
GL headlights are horrible unfortunately
O preço controla a qualidade.
