When it was announced that the whole country would be going on Lockdown I borrowed 18 books from the Library in one go. I think I got a few funny looks whilst trying to carry them. 😬😂 Hope you're doing ok Hannah. Would you consider doing a video on being a person who is possibly at risk from Covid 19 and? I know this is a huge topic at the moment in the media so you might not want to do stuff on it.
As a librarian I saw a lot of people doing this 😂 our usual borrowing limit is 12 books but we increased it to 15 in the few weeks before the lockdown and a lot of people took advantage of that!
I love vlogs in general but reading vlogs really are my cup of tea! ♥ I read the Truly Devious trilogy during the Reading Rush ^^ It didn't make me complete all of the challenges but I really wanted to read them at the time! And for "house on the cover", I wanted to read The Switch by Beth O'Leary because I'd adored The Flatshare, but I didn't get to it, can't wait to start it once I finish my current book! I'm finally reading the Princess Diaries books I never finished younger haha The nostalgy is kicking in!
I read one book that covered all four things: Ethel & Ernest. It has a house on the cover, I read it all in the same place (bed), it was something I knew I’d enjoy, and it’s set somewhere I’d like to go (the past!).
LOL - hearing you talk about the first part of "Saturday" reminds me of my experience reading Henry James' "The Golden Bowl." I was a little over a third into it, nearly all of it the characters thinking a lot and moving about a little bit (maybe a game of croquet? a carriage ride?) when "the thing" that was described in the blurb happened. And I think that's the ONLY major thing that happens in that book!! I consider the fact that I've read that book to the end akin to a war medal. Loving this reading vlog!
I love pretty much all of your content Hannah, but your reading videos might be what I click on fastest at the moment! Really enjoyed this vlog, although if this happens again would it be possible to do your preview video before the Reading Rush starts - I'd not heard of it before and would have loved the challenge, but 1 of the 4 days was almost gone before seeing your video last week.
I hope that even though this video doesn't get very much attention you're going to make more reading vlogs. Wasn't aware of it as a concept until now but I love it! Thanks for making my day a little better. :)
I love reading so much, I feel bad that I don’t get chances to do it more often!! I recently read the Poisonwood Bible and it was amazing!! I hope you’re doing well Hannah ❤️
Please do more reading vlogs or even a week of workouts? I love seeing what people I admire (like you, Hannah) do to keep themselves happy and healthy.
Youre always there to make me want to do more things with myself, thanks for always inspiring me 💛 im suuuch a slow reader its actually ridiculus, but im doing a LISTENING rush with harry potter books by listening to them through audible, the fifth book has been the sound of my quarantine 😅 I have 6 hours to go 😁
I love reading vlogs! I didn't take part in reading rush but I'm taking part in the OWLs magical readathon which is during the whole month of April. It's Harry Potter inspired readathon created by BookRoast here on TH-cam and has a couple of 24hour readathons included inside of itself and I've read 8 books for it so far 🥳
More Hannah Definitely, it’s so much fun to watch people reading in their natural habitat 😂 it’s like hanging out with friends while we all read. You did amazing 😊.
I love this!!! I have been following you and watching Booktube for years, I found it awesome when Ariel became your editor, and now you've made a reading vlog! Perfect! Definitely would like to see more reading vlogs from you 🤗 Hope you're doing well and that your week is going well 💛🌻
Such a cosy vlog to have a cuppa with ❤ I ordered cresent city and I've been saving it for this weekend bc I really miss just plowing through a good book in one sitting unf the vibes ❤
Loved this vlog, think I'm going to attempt a (late) reading challenge. Interesting to get an insight of what your typical day is. Could we have a video about how your organise your time with so many things to balance
Hannah, librarian here, pleaseeeee do not bend books, e.g bend the front pages round the back, if you are ever borrowing from the library as it tears the spine inside and we have to then dispose of the book as pages fall out and it makes them super tatty. great video :)
I read Saturday a long time ago, but I remembered enough to recall the car scene you talked about. I enjoyed the book, more than some of his others that I've read. Enduring Love is my favourite Ian McEwan novel though. I wasn't sure how you could get 23 minutes out of a Vlog about reading, but this was actually good fun.
This was brill! I did the reading rush and managed to read 4 books (one middle grade, one was 200 pages and two were told in verse, so it wasn't too hard 😂) and it was so fun! well done on completing two books, pages and co sounds delightful!
I managed 4!! I did Little Women, Happy by Fearne Cotton, Mary Poppins Comes Back and We Should All Be Feminists by Chimamanda - which is only 50 little pages but still a book! And LW is 400 pages so I’m having it hahah
I always fall asleep when I read at home during the day, whether the book is exciting or not. As a result, I've been taking a lot of accidental naps during the shelter in place order 😬
I'd love more reading vlogs - or moreso I'd love more opportunities to plan a read-a-thon. You could plan one for us all to do with you where you pick the challenges. I would have done the Reading Rush with you, but I'm so behind on TH-cam videos I didn't even see these videos until it was over. Womp womp.
Oh, also. I read Ian McEwan's "Nutshell" and had to abandon it a few chapters in. The whole thing is told from the POV of an unborn child. No joke. I think I read somewhere it was supposed to be a retelling of Hamlet, but I really just couldn't get into it.
I was so happy to see you participate in the Reading Rush !!! And this vlog was very nice ! :) I managed to read one fiction one comic book and to start another book during the Reading Rush. Congratulations to you for completing your TBR for your first reading challenge !!! Also, I love your channel in general :)
I often do my nails while reading (obviously putting the book down while I apply) as then I'm less likely to get bored while I wait for them to dry properly.
@@morehannah There are some great gadgets for holding books open, as well as just for holding books (they can be quite heavy for some people). But I usually just use something to weigh the page down while I do one hand, and use the other to flip the pages, then swap when they are done. And if you're really careful you can hold the book with wet nails and do both hands at the same time.
Such a fun vlog! I really admire that you kept at that one book - if a story isn't going for me, I just pick up another book 😂 Also, A Little Princess is one of my very favorite childhood stories
I tried reading Saturday once. I found it incredibly boring. It's very much up it's own arse about all being set it in one day. I feel like I've read loads of books that all happen in one day.
I want to read more but honestly, I am not even going to really try until after my semester ends. Maybe I will do my own reading rush the week after the semester is over.
I love to read, but lately I have gotten very into audiobooks. I love it, the only negative side is that it takes longer. I am, as always, doing the Night Huntress Series. I have that going on repeat honestly. I love that series and world. I think its my favourite vampire univers. Hope the next book in one of the spinn off series will come out soon!
Honestly so impressed you can actually read Ian McEwan. I could only get through half of atonement for my a level and then when I left school I threw out the book and plan to never step near another mcewan again 😂
I love love loved this reading vlog! All of your content on More Hannah has been exactly what I want from TH-cam. Does anyone have any suggestions for similar channels? My recommendations are never quite right 😥
I do read a fair bit of non-fiction but they always take me longer and lockdown has put me in a very fiction mood. The idea of reading non-fiction right now isn’t super appealing, just feels like effort haha
i LOVE reading vlogs, would be super happy to see more of them on this channel in the future! also in my effort to force booktube!hannah everywhere, might I suggest that you do a video on your Hannah Witton channel where you react to sex scenes in popular romance novels??? just a thought :D
I participated in the Reading Rush CIA I saw it on your channel! Read Greta Thunberg’s No One is Too Small to Make A Difference, The Little Coffee Shop of Kabul and finished off A Storm of Swords Part II!
The one time I wrote a novel and used surnames was for NaNoWriMo and that way every name was 2-3 words and that got me closer to the 50,000 required :P That was the only reason.
Reading Vlogs have been my absolute binge since turning 30
Love that for you
same but since turning 16 haha
When it was announced that the whole country would be going on Lockdown I borrowed 18 books from the Library in one go. I think I got a few funny looks whilst trying to carry them. 😬😂
Hope you're doing ok Hannah. Would you consider doing a video on being a person who is possibly at risk from Covid 19 and? I know this is a huge topic at the moment in the media so you might not want to do stuff on it.
I got a bunch of books from the library too! Not 18 though... I’m reading number 3 from the library now.
As a librarian I saw a lot of people doing this 😂 our usual borrowing limit is 12 books but we increased it to 15 in the few weeks before the lockdown and a lot of people took advantage of that!

I didn't take part in the reading rush but my god this vlog made me want to devour a book!!! I haven't got properly stuck into a novel in so long 😩
I love reading vlogs! Would definitely like more reading vlogs
I cant handle books with a ton of descriptions. I like making things up in my head about what certain things are like.
I read one book that covered all four things: Ethel & Ernest. It has a house on the cover, I read it all in the same place (bed), it was something I knew I’d enjoy, and it’s set somewhere I’d like to go (the past!).
i love raymond briggs!

Great video - my first of yours! Isn't Pages and Co fabulous? It's just so magical! You should totally do more reading vlogs!
I love pretty much all of your content Hannah, but your reading videos might be what I click on fastest at the moment! I loved this reading Vlog! Would be great if you did more of these or just a regular day in the life during quarantine!
I hope that even though this video doesn't get very much attention you're going to make more reading vlogs. Wasn't aware of it as a concept until now but I love it! Thanks for making my day a little better. :)

Oh nice! I think of myself as a pretty slow reader too but I dunno if I just have lots of very fast reader friends.
@@morehannah I'm slow too! So glad to find more slow reading buddies! :)
I loved this! you're so peppy and enthusiastic and wholesome, such a lovely watch
I love the fact you are reading pages & co !!! Even though it’s designed for a younger audience I love reading children/teenage books / YA 😍
Please do more of these vlogs! I absolutely adored this and motivated me to get back on that reading grind gahh!! X
21:14 Cutting pizza with... scissors? That's... probably a very good idea!
It is the only way to cut pizza. Try it, you’ll never look back.
I do that all the time too, haha!
YESSSS reading vlogs !!! My favourite unofficial booktuber! xxx Love you Hannah
Loved this, and loved the self-care exercise bits too! Nice to know how others are keeping healthy while at home
I love reading vlogs so yes more plz!
This was lovely, Hannah! The music was very relaxing and I now feel a lot calmer and positive, so thank you ✨
Aw I’m so glad!
I love reading vlogs, it’s like 90% of what I watch on here.
Hope I did the genre justice!
More Hannah Definitely, it’s so much fun to watch people reading in their natural habitat 😂 it’s like hanging out with friends while we all read. You did amazing 😊.

I found this vlog really calming and lovely in this stressful weird time🤗 would happily watch more reading vlogs xx
I loved this video!!! Please do more reading vlogs during this quarantine time! They always make me want to read more. 🥰
Would LOVE to see more of your reading vlogs!
Love that you did a reading vlog! I hope you make more in future, this was so fun!

I looove reading vlogs! Would def love to see more
Loved this vlog Hannah :). I would love to read pages & co, sounds like a read for me!
So excited to watch this!! I mainly watch booktube when I watch TH-cam so this is so exciting!
Hey- would love a video on what exercises you do at home, particularly at this time!!
More reading vlogs and bookish content, please!
Orange shoes, orange yoga mat, orange chairs, orange throw pillow. Coincidence? 🤪
I THINK NOT
Chocolate orange
Would love to see more reading vlogs!

Loved this reading vlog! Would definitely watch if you do more!
I've read a lot of comics during the Reading Rush, as well as part of It's not OK to be blue and other lies, your chapter was very insightful!
I think I bought that book solely to read Hannah's part but have found the other chapters interesting aswell.
Anything to do with books is interesting for me 👍🏼
I made it 100 pages into Saturday before I gave up. I hated it so much 😣
I always fall asleep when I read at home during the day, whether the book is exciting or not. As a result, I've been taking a lot of accidental naps during the shelter in place order 😬
Now I want to read Pages & Co!

I often do my nails while reading (obviously putting the book down while I apply) as then I'm less likely to get bored while I wait for them to dry properly.
I wish I could do that but the books would stay in place! Maybe could work if I’m a reading on a kindle!

more reading vlogs please!! always more reading vlogs
I would recommend reading Atonement from Ian Mcewan.. i love it😍 and also I’m always so motivated after watching your videos🙌🏼
Yes please I would love a bookvlogs 😇
Really enjoyed this, definitely do more book vlogs like this!😊
definitely interested in more reading vlogs! :)
I loved this and would love more reading vlogs!
Such a fun vlog! I really admire that you kept at that one book - if a story isn't going for me, I just pick up another book 😂 Also, A Little Princess is one of my very favorite childhood stories
SO GOOD. I remember being so mad that they changed the colour of her hair in the film!
I tried reading Saturday once. I found it incredibly boring. It's very much up it's own arse about all being set it in one day. I feel like I've read loads of books that all happen in one day.
I have that same Hogwarts blanket! Loved this vlog :)
It’s the best (the blanket)
Love reading vlogs!
Can't read with a bra on...never realised this was a hurdle for women to get over!! Loved the vid, thank you H! 😁
I want to read more but honestly, I am not even going to really try until after my semester ends. Maybe I will do my own reading rush the week after the semester is over.
I hated Saturday as well !! I think McEwan's books are either amazing (Sweet tooth, Atonement) or really shitty (Solar, Saturday) haha !
This was such a cool video, loved it!!
Well done!! 🧡🧡

Put it on double speed? I get what you mean though!
this was very wholesome!
Love it!
omg where is your Hogwarts blanket from ?!!
But off topic but can I just say super impressed with your commitment to your daily excessive routine
this video is hilarious :) plz do more reading vlogs!!!
Omg you have teal vertical blinds
Yuuuuup
Honestly so impressed you can actually read Ian McEwan. I could only get through half of atonement for my a level and then when I left school I threw out the book and plan to never step near another mcewan again 😂
There's this book Camgirl by isa mazzei i think you'd like! It's a memoir and she also wrote the film Cam on netflix (would also recommend)
The closed captions has Dan written as Dun and it makes me laugh because it probably just doesn't understand that Hannah has a northern accent 😂
I love love loved this reading vlog! All of your content on More Hannah has been exactly what I want from TH-cam. Does anyone have any suggestions for similar channels? My recommendations are never quite right 😥
I'm into it 10/10 👍
yes i did book 1 locke and key graphic novel volume 1 book 2 harry potter and the philosopher's stone
I've read and like other Ian McEwan novels, but Saturday is my least favorite. Nothing does happen in it.
Ahh where are your sunflower leggings from? They're amazing! Also do you follow a video for yr exercise routine?
They’re from posto9 and yeah I mostly watch Boho Beautiful for exercise routines.
This was cool, I had never seen a reading vlog before! Do you ever read nonfiction or are you a pure fiction type gal?
I do read a fair bit of non-fiction but they always take me longer and lockdown has put me in a very fiction mood. The idea of reading non-fiction right now isn’t super appealing, just feels like effort haha
I know your pain re too much exposition. I recently read a "thriller" with a 200 page chase scene. It stopped being thrilling...
Hahaha
i LOVE reading vlogs, would be super happy to see more of them on this channel in the future! also in my effort to force booktube!hannah everywhere, might I suggest that you do a video on your Hannah Witton channel where you react to sex scenes in popular romance novels??? just a thought :D

Tips for reading (1) Comfortable seat in the sun or bed (2) no bra (3) snacks (4) set page goals..... result
Pretty much
6:51 Um... is that a donut with pickles?

Haha nice
How's learning that tik tok dance or whatever it was going?
😀👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Where are your sunflower yoga pants from? One day I'll wear something other than pj pants!
They’re from posto9
i don't want to sleep when i'm reading because i walk in my room with a book in my arms
i guess i'm only one such a weirdo
who else wants to buy those books?!
from a fellow youtuber ;)
really enjoyed this reading blog! might be better if it were shorter though xxx
