  • Pros:
Cultural Diversity: Malaysia is a melting pot of cultures, providing a rich cultural experience for students. It's home to various ethnicities, languages, and traditions.
Quality Education: Malaysian universities offer a range of high-quality programs recognized globally. Some institutions have collaborations with foreign universities, providing diverse educational opportunities.
Affordability: Compared to many Western countries, the cost of living and tuition fees in Malaysia can be relatively lower, making it an attractive option for international students.
Beautiful Environment: Malaysia boasts stunning landscapes, from bustling cities to serene beaches and lush rainforests, providing a great backdrop for studying.
English Proficiency: English is widely spoken, which can ease the transition for international students and eliminate language barriers.
    Cons:
Weather: The climate in Malaysia can be hot and humid throughout the year, which might be uncomfortable for some students, especially those not accustomed to tropical weather.
Cultural Adjustment: While the cultural diversity is enriching, some students might face challenges adjusting to a different cultural context, norms, and practices.
Traffic and Transportation: In major cities like Kuala Lumpur, traffic congestion can be an issue, impacting commuting and travel time.
Limited Job Opportunities: While studying in Malaysia, international students might face limitations in terms of part-time job opportunities due to certain visa regulations.
Distance from Home: For international students, being far from home might pose emotional challenges and make it difficult to visit family and friends frequently.

Are the job opportunities centered mainly in capital KL ? Or other cities like Johor have similar opportunities, also do the companies give internship opportunities for international students ? I have applied to UTM software engineering. If you could say something on it, it would be helpful. Thank you.

You can check for job opportunities in any city of Malaysia it depends now where you can get your desired job. And if we talk about internships, then you can easily get it because the companies hire interns in their companies because they know that in specific degrees, it's compulsory. So they do events and career fairs to get the attention of those students who are interested to do Internships. @nazmussakib0229

Assalam-O-Aliakum, I have done ACCA Foundation in Accountancy diploma which is equivalent to Hnd. Am I eligible to take admission in 2nd or 3rd year in relevant degree or I need to start again from 1st semester?
I've check one university they provide foundation in Business program which is same as ACCA Fia diploma.
Did you know anything about this or please refer me to any university or any person from whom I know if I am eligible or not?

I got information for you from my university and I got this information
ACCA is a certification program no exemptions are entertained. Foundation ACCA is not eligible for any exemption in any accounting degree. He will need to complete atleast 9 papers to join the bachelor program
but if the student joins the accounting degree and then applies for ACCA.... APU students get exemptions of 9 papers
Foundation ACCA kerliya exemption nahi milegi

The study gap is not an issue for Malaysia. You just need to prove it through any courses that you have done or any part time or ful time job.

You should search on QS ranking website for the high ranked universities of Malaysia and go through their websites to check the criteria and fees of the degree you want to study.

Good evening, I hope you’re doing very well. Can you please share the total cost of masters program in Data Science at APU? Is there any scholarship available for international students especially for this program of study? Why did you choose APU rather than going for more affordable public university in Malaysia with better ranking? Thank you in advance 😊

    • @Desiwanderergirl
      @Desiwanderergirl  หลายเดือนก่อน

You can check the cost from the website because I am not sure if it's the same right now or it has changed. Secondly, I applied in 3 universities, and APU was also one of them, and the admission procedure was quite easy for APU, and plus it's ranking was also good, so I came here.
