At 1:34 Mike Eber starts soloing. Does anyone know what kind of scale he's using? I've mastered major, minor, and blues scales and I'm looking to dive into the jazz world but I can't find any scales that sound like the ones he's using, and that's the kind of sound I'm going for. Thanks in advance!
@ZeeMetallz Did you use a different account just to reply? And the tone isn't a universal one, but it works in this application. Not every band has to use the same tones as kiss.
@chocolateganesh No, people "claim to play all styles, give this a listen and almost puke" because their musical taste is different from ours. I happen to love this piece and I'm planning to buy the album, but does that mean everyone has to? No! Try letting people have a different opinion, it makes life a lot easier.
people claim to play all styles, give this a listen and almost puke.. WHY? cuz they're still musically ignorant. also just look at the people who gave zevious negative comments... they suck at music anyway and are not worth time to argue with, SO GIVE EM A BREAK.
@chocolateganesh I highly doubt that EVERYONE who likes their music understands it, or that EVERYONE who understands it likes it. And no, opinions are not allowed here! ;)
Gee, has the guitarist spend any time listening to King Crimson? ;-) Like! This is almost like John Scofield trying to channel Robert Fripp and getting partway there half the time.
An amazing band, after our own hearts!
Крутую и необычную музыку рубите, мне нравится)))

Love the dissonant sound. It's something one either enjoy or hate...
Plus the musicianship blew my mind.

It's no scale in particular, just various chromatic patterns.
Who saw them play at the Schlafly Tap Room?
@KISSguitarist Coming from a self proclaimed "KISS addict", I think I will take that statement with a grain of salt...

@ZeeMetallz And, yes, you are entitled to your opinion. Some people just have dumb opinions.
