Mead is a very large lake and has had a lot of drownings without ever finding the body. Mead is also near Vegas and an easy dump site, no digging required! I'm betting there are a lot more buried in the surrounding desert. I was often at the dry { Usually } lake bed out of Boulder and often wondered who was buried out there?
Hmmm, sounds good. But, why would you dig a hole for hours, when you can just drop the body in a barrel and kick it off the end of a boat? Jimmy Hoffa is in a 55 gallon steel drum in the bottom of a river.
A bored researcher could find old reports of drownings without recovery of the bodies. That way there would be some sort of account when the tallies add up,or don't add up as the case may be. And you never know what is under the decades of silt, bones lay pretty flat so it wouldn't have to be too deep of silt to cover them. Maybe cadaver dogs could sniff around where the water has receded, you just never know what you are walking accross. Also jewelry could set off metal detectors if the victim happened to be wearing any.
Metal detectors don't pick up non-ferrous metals. They need to be magnetic, like iron. Those old guys at the beach are just passing time. You'd probably just pick up things like bottle openers and tin cans if anything.
@@s6y9l Huh? They certainly do pick up non ferrous metal. I have an old Ace 250 and it detects gold/silver/aluminum and likely others. Are you thinking of those sweepers for clearing a yard of roofing nails after tear off? Those are just magnets, but, metal detectors work differently.
Yeah if I lived near there I’d be metal detecting that basin every day. Might stumble across a body but who knows how much has been lost overboard there over the years? All that space accessible now.
@@grantv2313 If I was younger I would too. But I think they would have to suspend the law that says nothing can be removed from there unless you brought it in. They should make it legal for a year or two,I bet detectors would show up to do videos by the hundreds.

more than likely if your body is in a barrel you've not led what's exactly a moral and just life, lol.
@@ryanbarker5217 Those who put them there were top notch? It can not be readily determined who is there, and what kind of life they were leading up to the point of being killed. Doesn't seem likely that all of the bodies have the exact same story or likeness. Some may have drowned. The barrel, is a hiding container for the killer to not get caught, and the killer? May or may not be still out there, alive. 😶🌫️ God is watching us, all.
@@ryanbarker5217 shhh don't ruin it for the weird religious lady.
"Rest In peace" isn't even biblical, that's just some BS we tell the survivors but it has NOTHING to do with the next life.
your words changed nothing. your words were for you.
At this rate, Hoffa is bound to pop up sometime
Oh yeah! 😯
Chicago ate him.
Hi
He's buried underneath I-55 cut up into pieces and spread out for miles
Hoffa was most likely disposed of at a mortuary close to the house he was murdered in… all on the same day he disappeared…
"Fourth set of human remains discovered " .........Just the tip of an "Iceberg"
All the Vegas locals were drinking that corpse infested water all these years 🤮
Right. They just pulled the water out in buckets and we gathered around with our little straws made from bones. Geez, we have some of the strictest purification systems in the U S. Where ever you get your water from is purified as well. Bet there is a dead body or two in every lake.
There are (or have been) dead bodies in pretty much every Body of Water in the World.
@@aheimdahl5201 , Absolutely. And if that doesn't bug you then thinking about all the animals in the water...pooping! Lol!

I can’t wait to find out who these people are and what their story is. Possible book in the making. 🧐
Maybe I can help youse wid dat. Da guys are wiseguys, and da story is dey got whacked.
Now I want 50% of the profits from da book. And da movie.
that would make an interesting book for sure if they knew the background and a little about the lives of each leading up to them ending up in the lake, the book could begin with them all alive in their different time eras just an ordinary day in their life then have to progress to where they end up there...

PUR water filters also filters out decomposing dead bodies.
Good to know. That's what I used for the 8 years I lived in Vegas. The tap water was undrinkable

Thanks for everyone's concern about my whereabouts! I bet there is at least one dude in these comments that has dumped a body in there.
Shhhhhhhhhhhhh mfer, you gonna get us all caught
Maybe they'll find you.
Perhaps the lake was meant to be dried up to give families closure?
They would never get closure if it didn’t.
“What the winter snow hides, the spring thaw reveals“
Nope.... DROUGHT.
@Asus Kybd- it’s an old saying. It means that whatever has been hidden will eventually be found or all secrets will eventually come to truth.
That is not a problem. The biggest problem is approving new developments in all directions of The Valley: housing developments to accommodate the s’s from CA, new casino in the SW area, new plants in the North, and almost all residents have jacuzzi and pools in backyard. CRAZY STUFF!
I’m really surprised only four bodies so far
This is NOT surprising. 💪😎🤟
Stay classy, L.V.
I'm sure there are many more they will find when it completely dries up which won't be much longer.
It is Vegas,,,,Lots more to be found!
I wonder how many people ate fish from the lake whose main diet was human body particles. Sicking to think of.
Hundreds if not thousands haha myself included taking showers with dead body water lmao omg 😱all the resorts use this water source hahaha it's is hilarious 😂 but then again we die and become grass and cows eat grass and we eat cows so it's the same thing
This is the season in the Abyss. The water has disappeared, and horror appeared.
I mean if ya search the desert long enough you most likely will FIND WAY more bodies. Please stop acting like people out there don’t think they’re not invincible just bc they think no one will go looking.
Damn 4 bodys?? Hope they find out what happened. An find family they belong to. R.i.p
They have no families
4 skeletons, not bodies…. And if only 4, then nobody is really looking.
These bones won too much money at the casino. Now just imagine what's in your drinking water? Yuk
I was just thinking about that this morning after watching a program that discussed runoff with a lot of soul, etc. that helps refill lakes.
So, I guess you can tell the water level of a lake by the number of bodies found? Hopefully after an autopsy they can lay the body to rest appropriately.
Bones can be autopsied?
@@StupidTVclips sure, to see if there is a bullet hole, or knife marks. Also to determine approximate age and sex of the victim.
These are the ones actually being found.

My grandfather is 96 years old and live in Vegas from 1964 to 2003. Not sure what he did but he told me he is glad he is 96 and this is making him nervous
Doesn’t Lake Mead supply drinking water to the Vegas area? I suppose the human decomposition couldn’t be any worse than the fish excrement 🫣🤮
Did you forget about water purification plants? Lmao this isnt china, we dont just pipe dirty lake water into homes. That shit is purified multiple times and chemically treated.
@@jordanhicks5131 I know, 😂 I have worked at water reclamation and processing plants over the years. I remember an employee telling me about the filters and what they would find…used condoms, tampons, syringes, fetuses, and any thing else you can dream of that people flush down toilets or dump in the lake….
The general public is clueless 😆
@@Green_Leaf As a former Wastewater Chemist you would be amazed at substances in water of any kind.
Sort of seems, by probability and physics, that MOST such finds should be lying around the middle of the lake. I'll bet there's AT LEAST 20 discarded bodies down there.
Thats the silver lining to the lake evaporating. It would solve so many cold cases
You seem pretty sure of the number of bodies. Are those just ones you know about?

Just like God said. All things that are hidden shall be revealed in time.
300 hundred people have drown in Lake Mead since 1932, however, they don't mention the number recovered.
Anybody who dumped bodies in lake mead is probably shitting bricks right now.

Setup a scuba concession, rent out tanks and fins! Better than ice cream!

Every river and canal in the world will have a story like this.
mmm you folks sure have a huge bowl of human soup and you have been consuming it for years
People forget that Lake Mead is HUGE. Im interested to hear how many more will turn up.
At least this will bring closure to four families who have had unanswered questions for a very long time. Prayers for these families 🙏
Now my irrational fear of lakes seem to be more rational. Since a kid I was scared of lakes because I didn’t want to step on a dead person or be swimming in the murky water and a dead person pops up.

Some things happen for a reason. This drought revealing these bodies might be for that reason.
Indeed, this is happening because too many people are using too much water

The person in the barrel that appears to be late 70’s... Could it be Hoffa?? 😳🤔.. He was last seen in Michigan but who’s to say they didn’t transport his body to Lake Mead? Never know!🤷♂️
Absolutely not.
He's probably at the bottom of one of the great lakes!!
Hoffa in Lake Michigan prolly be found someday...
@Defective Degenerate Well they never said how old the person was in the barrel. Said the guy they found a month later was between 23 and 38 yrs of age. And appeared that he drowned.
Right
So they’ve found 4 bodies…imagine what’s been eating by fish over the years and considering the vast size of the lake, I bet there are thousands upon thousands of unfortunate souls that have called that place their last.
In other news, the water in Lake Mead is definitely wet... I mean, you can't tell me they didn't expect to find dead bodies in a lake just outside Las Vegas. I'm sure there are a lot of bodies that'll never be found all over the country.
ok , this has gone on far too long, All of Lake Meade , is considered a Crime Scene! CSI - Las Vegas!!

There are bodies in every lake river and ocean in the world. Just you dont see them. Its not really a suprise
That’s a creepy thought….bodies in the lake. I’m sure most big lakes have some secrets down there. There’s a young lady who went missing from a party the other day…her vehicle is missing too. I think they’re in a body of water somewhere.
I’m surprised the number is so low with how much water it has lost. I’m sure people dumped lots there. We will find more the longer they empty the lake
The lake isn't being emptied, it's in the middle of the worst drought in history and the lake is drying up.
