The belt removal tool is not removing elastic belts because the belt should not be elastic at all. A good belt will actually have Kevlar strands in the middle or other material to keep it from stretching. The removal tool only works as designed if there is a tensioner in the belt system. so when you start removing the belt, and instead of the belt stretching the tensioner backs off. If there is no tensioner and you use that tool on a standard belt then you’re doing nothing but damaging the belt. If it’s an old belt that needs to be replaced no big deal, but if you’re installing a new belt the same way then it becomes a big deal. Plus, if anyone is paying attention when he talks about, it’s made out of a good durable plastic. The ones in the video are all aluminum or steel. They’re not plastic. So wonder why they’re not using what they are advertising. Plus, if you watch the belts are already pre-positioned to either come off or to go on easier for the video. I think this kit is garbage.
The person that was supposed to be sharpening their knife on the sander that was upside down and clamped to a workbench has obviously never sharpened a knife in their life. Because they were not in the process of sharpening the knife, but rather just turning the blade into metal dust.
