@@researchwithfawad Sir I have a question please: where did you get the direction of arrows coming from the higher order construct to its dimensions ? for example the internal marketing and its dimensions where did you get that its formative? in the literature I didn’t find the direction they say this construct is measured by these dimensions ...

Hii, very helpful video. I am following your video for my work as I am beginner for smart pls4. Can you please share the video " how to deal with model where it is not reliable and validity and loading are mostly in red area."
Goodafternoon, I have 3 questions: 1. When you import the data with the LVS (32:01), the scale must be the same as the ones used before? I used ordinal in my items, since i read it in a book that if i am using a 5-point Likert scale, I should use ordinal, and you are using a metric scale. 2. When I was assessing my LOC validity, I had a construct that had 4 items but I had to delete 3 of them to assure the validity, so my construct is now a single-item construct. Do I maintain the same procedure? 3. My moderator's LOC are part of a HOC, that will moderate the relationship between 2 other HOC. Should I proceed the same way you did in the video? Thank you in advance
Thanks for watching. I have 3 questions: 1. I just didnt change the scale in SPSS. You can change it to ordinal. The results wont change. 2. The procedure remains the same, but deleting 3 can affect the content validity. 3. Yes, use the same procedure.
Mr. Fawad, In this model, you have not connected Mediator with the endogenous variable (DV). I shall be grateful if you can please highlight the reason for this change from the previous lecture?
Salam Dr and all viewers, Thank you for the video. Very easy to understand and straightforward explanation. I would like to confirm with you: My model developed is a reflective third-order construct - for the independent variable. e.g: IV --> constructs --> sub-constructs --> indicators Currently, the constructs and sub-constructs are in red, except the indicators are all blue. Do I need to include all indicators in the respective constructs and sub-constructs as well to turn it blue? Since there is an error in the model, it shows the path invalid. TQ Dr
Thank you Prof. for the excellent work! I have have 3 main variables (independent variable), (dependent Variable) and (Mediating variable) and some demographic variables. Each of the independent and Mediating variables are measured by scales with 4-6 dimensions with 2-3 items for each dimension. The dependent variable is measured by a scale with 7 dimensions with one Item for each dimension. The three main variables were scored on a 7-point Likert scale 1=Strongly Disagree to 7=Strongly Agree. Could you please clarify how to model this especially with a Dependent Variable (7 dimensions and 7 items- one item for each dimension)?
Thanks for watching. You will need to model it as a higher order construct. You may refer to the higher order construct videos in the smartpls playlist.
@@researchwithfawad Thanks Prof. Do you mean I should model it by adding the indicators (Items) of each dimension construct including the dependent variable 7 dimensions with one item for each dimension? or should I include the 7 Items under the dependent variable without including the dimensions because the there is only one item for each dimension and then connect the dimensions of the independent and the mediating variables with the depending variable items only? I'd really appreciate your detailed explanation as I am new user of PLS. Thanks! P.S. as for your video example, what is the scale structure of the dependent variable (Organizational Performance)? is it measured by subscale dimensions or directly by questions/items?
