If Rabbi Gameliel was alive in this world today he would have surely understood by now that it's God's work through Peter & other disciples that even to this very day the Gospel is shared throughout the world and when it comes to the Jewish world many Jew brothers & sister are still hearing the Gospel of Jesus Christ and accepting him as Messiah. They are now very few in numbers but the work of God has not being stopped to this day as rightely said by Rabbi Gameliel

That was an excellent explanation of the passage in that text, if indeed Gamliel even made those statements at all, but if he did, then that explanation would fit in perfectly.

I agree with most of what is taught here, but the primary inference and deduction is without significant support. Using his logic; the religion practiced by Moses no longer exists because it no longer exists the way it did when He lead them. Likewise, the religion of David, Solomon, Josiah, etc. Although Israel "owns" the temple mount, there is no temple and so, bowing to the will of the nations, Israel refuses to obey God. Perhaps Israel's focus should be on Israel and not Christianity?

Note the inconsistency. He uses Acts 5 to say Gamliel made this prediction and then argues Gamliel would have never made such a prediction if Apostolic Christianity was like post-Nicean Christianity. Yet if the "Rabbi" would of read the REST OF ACTS, he would of noted these same Jews already prayed to and worshiped Jesus and viewed him as the source of life and Resurrected LORD AND MESSIAH, who reigns supreme and sits upon a throne in heaven (something Metatron is punished for in the Talmud).

Joel 3:19, "Egypt shall be a desolation, and Edom shall be a desolate wilderness, for their violence against the children of Judah." "The prophet mentions Egypt and Edom; Egypt on account of the Turks, and Edom on account of the Roman Empire; and these two have now had the dominion for a long time, and will continue until the redemption. This is what Isaac prophecied Esau in Genesis

Since the Rabbi is quoting the Holy Bible and attempting to make a point, he should be bold enough to share what the book of Acts teaches. I encourage fellow viewers to read the book of Acts. Please comment on The Jerusalem Council in chapter 15.

I can't believe one word from the NT, you just can't talk about anything that is not fact, and even the pope doesn't believe what is in the NT. The Jewish people and the Gentiles are the only people that G-D has revealed HIMSELF to, at the time HE gave them the Torah, the Gentiles have their own laws, now known as the Noahide Laws. How can you compare a book of fact with a book of fairy stories, which there is no evidence that it is truth, also JC said himself that he had not come for the Gentiles, but for the Jews, it was Paul, who never met JC who went up the path of the church.

What role did the bar khokba tevolt play in the dispersal of the ebionites from Israel? To those early torrah observant followers of Jesus bar khokbavwas a false messiah and they would not participate in the war. They were hounded and persecuted by the rebels and forced out of Israel eventually incorporating themselves into the growing gentile churches of the near east.

We have had the truth in our ancient sacred books, but for some strange reason השם (HaShem) has given the Gentiles the חֶסֶד (grace) to know about His plans better than to us. We have been so arrogant against YHWH throughout our own history. I AM VERY HAPPY I AM A CHRISTIAN NOW. The most Jewish thing to do for me has been to accept YESHUA, the Messiah in my mind and heart. Why do my people -the Jews-- can't see and understand that OUR MESSIAH ALREADY CAME?. Please, let's open our eyes!!. Please!

The history of the church has also paralleled this phenomenon. We can see in the 3rd and 4th centuries church directives to not mingle with Jews or celebrate the feasts with them. It is unknown how many believers had to go underground when keeping these mitzvot. Medieval Jewish converts were particularly oppressed to give up the keeping of the torah under pain of death, which I am certain some suffered. Even today Jews are receiving Yeshua as YHVH and are keeping torah.

You are assuming that the position of the Jerusalem church was unknown to Gamliel is a stretch. Peter openly preached rather conventional Christianity as evidenced by the sermon in acts while most scholars agree and much evidence supports the position that the gospel of mark is a record of Peter’s homilies as well as his relationship with and observations about Jesus.

    • @TacShooter
      @TacShooter 3 ปีที่แล้ว

The Gospel of Mark was probably written while the original Iesous, Vespasian, was still in Galilee, Samaria or Judaea, making war with the Jews. The healing of the blind man is a miracle Vespasian was known for. Vespasian had to return to Rome to become Emperor, the Roman Imperial state "god". Vespasian's "beloved son" Titus remained to become the new Iesous, elevating Vespasian to "Father in Heaven" status. Of course, we know about Markan Priority. The surface Lie took on a life of its own while the underlying true story was only known by those Elites in the Flavian circles.

Therefore the deity of Jesus and observance of the Resurrection Day of the Lord was already part of the book of Acts, likewise the assertion that Gentiles are not required to be circumcised or adhere to dietary restrictions also in Acts. Thus "Post-Nicean Christianity" was already largely in part in the book of Acts, the very source the Rabbi appeals to. Further more he obviously has no idea what even non-Orthodox historians have asserted about the worship of Jesus by the earliest of Christians.

  • @UCAFGermany

It does matter very much. Many Christian theologies are in contradiction with itself. Special in the Trinity is the contradiction very obvious.
Some among the Christians have an upright heart. They really want to learn about the truth. Everyone should have the possibility to learn.

  • @Excpired
    @Excpired 13 ปีที่แล้ว

I don't think Gamliel was talking about its existence being a proof of its truthfulness. Moreso, he was referring to the fact that if the Christians couldn't be stopped then it must be Gods intention for them to continue. Gods reason for allowing the Christian movement to continue doesn't necessarily mean he condones it as truth or his word. God himself never contributed to Christian theology (unless you consider Christ to be God), and therefore doesn't lie or deceive anyone.

You find Christians in every race and nationality, but just like in ANY religion, some are good and some are not so good, just as it happens in Judaism, Buddhism, etc. where there are very good people and not o good.
I left Judaism as did two relatives who were Orthodox Rabbis, and all my family. People are leaving Judaism by the thousands as publicly recognized by Tovia Singer (an Orthodox Rabbi). May peace be with you, and may the Lord bless the ones that you love.

The later group were influenced by religion of the roman empire...which was pagan...so they practised pagan rituals and believed pagan doctrines like the virgin birth, trinity etc. That does not mean the man who had nothing to do with that religion and who left the earth 300 or so years before the religion was officially formed, is not the true Moshiach...

So Rome, Edom, and Christianity became, and are, synonymous with Babylon, and therefore is called mystical Babylon;* not only because she had her rise from them, but because of her great Confusion of Tongues as took place in Babel or Babylon, which is confusion, and also from her many sects and divisions springing from that cause.

Rabi Scobak, the christian movement is what the Tanak calls Edom, i will show you why. History informs us that "Edom was conquered by Albianus, King of Chittim, and Edom became under the children of Chittim* from that day;" and this is the reason the Prophet Isaiah speaks, in his 23rd chapter, connectively of Edom and Chittim as one and the same place and people. The Spirit of God identifies Edom with Babylon. (See Ps. 137:7 and 8.)

Our scriptures tell us in Duet that if a man performs miracles, but tells us to alter any aspect of our Torah we are not to believe him. If Jesus had not been misconstrued to be a God/Man, human sacrifice, Virgin born G-d...maybe...but as it stands, we can not leave the Torah to follow false gods. Christianity has made Jesus a pagan, not a Jew...so we have a real problem with that.

The deciever flips good for evil. Masquerading as an angel of light contaminating the body of Christ which is the bread corrupted by The Levin. The Catholics and many out front protestants falsely have become the world's idea or definition of Christians. True followers of Christ and the new testament try to imitate Christ by serving others and their lives do shine out to others in their sphere. They are not seeking fame or a spotlight that is powered by evil

I appreciate your video as one of the best I have seen that I don't agree with. The reasons I don't believe your eloquent dialogue is this. Early Jews did believe Yeshua was G-d. We see this in the writings of John. It is his writings that explain the incarnation and support what Paul preached. Early believers were cast out of the synagogue and a liturgy of a curse was introduced. You have no one to blame but yourselves for the loss of Jewish identity for these believers. I will continue....

The church and christianity has NOTHING to do with Yeshua my brothers.
It came 325 years after Yeshua and his talmidim and after Gamliel.
    Gamliel meant believers in Yeshua.
Yeshua the Messiah is the only way to the Father.
Read the Brit Chadasha and see for yourself who Yeshua is.
He is not Yeshu, Michael Skobac made even a video about that.
The Messiah is God himself according to the Torah (Yeshayahu 9:6, Zecharyah 12:10, Micah 5, ...)
Pray and ask Adonai to reveal to you if Yeshua is the Moshiach. And he will my brother.

Jesus was a messenger of Allah, and the Messiah, you Jews unfortunately follow your rejecting forefathers, who had jealousy and envy towards Jesus pbuh. thus they tried to kill him, but Allah saved him and raised him to the Heavens. That man whom was on the cross, was a disciple of Jesus pbuh, who sacrificed himself, to be with Jesus in Paradise. Never can you humiliate such a man like Jesus pbuh, Allah has a plan, a firm one.

@ReadTheScripture But the Holy Spirit won't become God after the Messiah. There are laws that Are eternal: Circumcision, what to eat and what not to eat, Others are moral laws that cannot be changed, such as Usury. Christians have made all of that obsolete.

Allah is not the father of anything, he is the owner of everything. your father is your father, the one who married your mother i hope, and raised you. This is your Father, the one who created you, is above the 7 heavens, and he controls all affairs, and in his hand is all good. He needs no one, but everything needs him, all things stand because he makes them stand. this is Allah, the One God. who revealed to Moses pbuh, the Torah.

Christian not glorifying Allah or ‘Eesa (Jesus) because Allah hates the places where the Christians associate partners with Him. Besides, ‘Eesa (Jesus) will declare himself innocent of those who worship him or take him as the son of God on the Day of Judgment.
Concerning the books that they have today, then we authoritatively assert that they have been distorted and falsified. Nevertheless, these books should not be disrespected as they include some truth and some of Allaah's words.

Yes, Jesus was human. He was born by a woman and Jesus said "That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit." in John 3:6
Jesus prayed once “My Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as you will.” Matthew 26:36 -> Jesus did not the will of the flesh, he did God's will.
Why Jesus called God Father? Because God is the Father of all. The One God created everything. God is the true father of all beeings.

His first followers were Jews; the Br't Hadasha is a totally Jewish book. Just as it happens with our Tanakh, the originals (of OT and NT) do not exist anymore. Billions are followers of the greatest being who has come to earth... Yeshua, the Jew, the only and true Messiah. If Judaism was favored by YHWH, it would not be declining in number so fast.
