Light gear is good but where I fish you will never get a fish to the shore especially if they go to the left which they usually do. Good work boys 👍

Definitely run the risk of losing one on such light gear. I find as the years go by I continue to go lighter just to make it more of a sport and test my skills. Been catching plenty of Jewies lately while targeting bream in that area. Hope you're getting amongst a few mate. Tight lines👍

Wow congratulations great catch. I’m also fishing the Bay mostly around Shoaly and Soldiers Point. Never caught a Jewie only bream flatties whiting. Were you opposite Fame Cove?
