Are you able to harvest parts of the plant without disrupting seed production? I have a single solitary QAL plant in my yard and want to pluck part of it to have a taste, but would like to get as many seeds as possible to plant next year. I'll probably just let it be, as it has 3 flowers on it. The main flower just bloomed over the past 2 days. Hoping the deer that stops by doesn't find it. I have a metal tomato trellis around it atm. Also have some wild onions and wild lettuce I'm hoping to seed. Paint the town white lol.
That is an excellent question :D technically, if you take off a flower head it will indeed disrupt seed production. The queen does make a lot of seeds, but I understand if you want to have every last one for yourself. It's too bad you don't have any growing in your town to go harvest. I've been painting my town white slowly
