It’s rather amusing referring to the couples as “happy couples” as most of them look like they’re not particularly happy, especially if there is a language barrier. Obviously they are both there for different reasons with the men looking for a good time and end up looking a bit bulgy eyed with desperation and their “girlfriend” herding them like cattle towards the expensive clothes and jewellery section especially if the man has limited funds. If I ever went to Thailand , there’s no way that I’d pay for a gal for the whole holiday, better to pop into a massage parlour when you feel the need and still walk out with most of your money in your pocket.
