don't know how bad it was from watching video. i do know that nothing ever looks hard on a video. last time in wellsville ohio i had to winch out of an off camber wash out. didn't look like much in pics but when you're there and one side lifts and the other begins to fall deeper into a hole your sphinkter will tighten. i hooked up because at the time it was raining hard, no backing up the steep wet rocky hill and the washout was getting worse.
I have friends who ride MOAB every year but haven't been there myself yet. Definitely some steep rocky terrain and rock crawling there, not just desert.
Great video! I have rode rockhouse several times and that spot is much worse than it looks on camera. I've seen some terrible roll overs right there. Definitely not a spot you want to try make it by ok Mashing on the throttle lol
Nice video. Would've liked to have seen some more. Ignore all the trash talkers. If you're out there having fun, that's all that matters. Keep up the good work!
For those saying it's not steep, it is... Pause the video and look at the trees. Turn your head until the trees are vertical, also, it's steep off the sides. Yes Moab has some freaking hair raising climbs too.
i have hit that spot quite a few times the spot is on a main thorough fare and it is gradually getting worse because of all the traffic through there i have hit it with my ATV many times and didn't have an issue i just stayed to the left and hit it like a jump I have never hit it with a SxS but my buddy had a Commander and he did it ok but he stayed to the left and straddled the hole that this SXS went into
lol, love the negative comments. I was busting their balls when I first saw this as well. I wasn't there to actually see it. Has anyone actually rode that section with no problem? I know the RZR that was having issues has after market shocks and I believe no lift. He said he kept getting closer to the edge and didn't want to toss the RZR over the edge.
looks like a little pucker factor kicking in at the end. passenger was holding on for dear life.Video always looks better than it actually was. those hills have claimed many rides that never get recovered
95% of people that lose there lives riding hatfield/ outlaw trails in wv are due to not riding smart, drifting in the snow will send you off the mountain and last year two teens died from that stupid driving and it happens every year and yes yo due have that 5% of people that drive safe and do happen so be there last beat. This part of the trail is not hard i have been of this exact part, i ride these trails 6 or 7 times a year and that's all I hear from the locals is that people that ride stupid and let there guard down and think that they have rode once successfully think that they cant wreck, and that's when the mountain will take advantage of you
Really Man have you ever been there? I don't think you have cameras don't do this place justice some of these trails are a lot harder than you think they are check out my Double Black Diamond trail ride on my channel they are the hardest trails there and they make your butt Pucker every time i ride them!!!!!!
Been to rockhouse 4 times and always had a good time
I was just there. Great trail system! lots of fun and very tough at times. The black tails are harder than any video shows.
And that's why they call it "Rockhouse". Thanks for posting.
pulled cable for that?

Dumb question. Isn't Moab kinda like a Desert?

We didn`t have that problem when we went through there.
was that 91?
True for some stuff but a lot of places we ride don't allow 2 wheels.
it helps if you can ride too.

Yep, that is the case. You can never tell how steep a hill or rut is from any video.
look like a blast

Are you kidding me? You actually had to use a winch.
Nicesilver grizzly man!

You may go faster than me, but my Mule can climb up that easy without a winch.
