A dear friend sent me this song tonight. I very quickly couldn't contain my tears. The floodgates of my heart broke wide opened. Having to listen on repeat now, without waterworks. I sobbed through almost the entire thing from only a few lines in, as we lay in bed separated by the miles between us. It felt like we were together, connected emotionally, even so. Been waiting my whole life for this man, God's man, my man; the One who will walk out true love -- and this song, for me and with me -- like he should, long term, for the duration of our commitment. So really, where is he? Sidenote: Of course, for us, it would be this song minus the weed. 😂 No offense to anyone else. Weed's not our thing. Come to think of it, any weed guys in my past never had it in them to be my man, nor did they care to have it in them to really love anyone at all. Actually still don't, from what I've heard. Their loss. Sorry to have gone through any time with them, but I'm so glad and thankful I was finally released from the bondage of being held captive by those types. Had I known about the weed, they wouldn't have been my guy. It wasn't medically necessary, just addiction. Addiction also fueled their abusiveness. Waiting since I was three years old, over fifty years, for the right man has not been without a great deal of painful lessons. Being weary to a degree isn't adequate words, yet I'm still quite hopeful. I know he's out there! I feel him. I hear him calling me home, saying "Please Hurry," everyday. I do trust God in this kind journey. It's my faith walk. Darling, if you hear me, don't lose hope. Please hurry! I'm longing for you, my One Love, the One who longs for me like Jesus and much like this song describes. Like I already long for you too! I need you to present yourself, make it known you're desiring to be my One, love me in ways that I'll know I should agree to be yours. We'll never stop loving one another in word and deed. This song reminds me of a friend of mine who I used to date. The reason we stopped going out a few months ago was because he needed to “figure things out.” so we’re stuck as friends, and hearing this song explained how I currently feel in a way that I didn’t think was appropriate or possible. I like that you thought i smoked weed my lips stained due to vape because i hated weed and marijuana. Entirely but i needed to suppress my libado around so i vaped and finally quit.
Hi! Taking melatonin can mess with your body’s ability to produce melatonin on its own. So I’d recommend trying organic kiwis and tart cherry juice, as I’ve found them both to be actually helpful and not just hype 🙂. Also try organic lemon balm or lemon verbena tea 🫖. Just thoughts as different things work for different people : ). Hope you can fall asleep easier & get better sleep! 🥺
