Good choice I’ve also gone gas gas . I like the rear suspension set up rather than the pds on the ktm . I’ve put ohlins all round on it . Love it !! Glad your happy with yours guys
wondering how you are liking the change to linkage after being used to PDS for Hard Enduro? I'm on a linkage bike and considering PDS next to avoid dragging linkage over rocks and logs.
I find that the Areas where the gas gas misses out on the extra bits that the ktm and husky have, are items that I'd rather buy better aftermarket options instead of paying extra when buying the bike and changing it anyway. Loving my gas gas ec 250 so far.
A lot of my friends had serious issues with those braketec brakes that come on those gasgas bikes. They boil over much easier than brembos that come on ktm's. Also the brake pads of those braketec brakes do not have isolators so they heat much more. At the moment there is no aftermarket brand that makes levers for braketec brakes. Even the feel isn't on par with brembos. Btw even when you look at bikes of pro hard enduro riders that ride gas gases thay all have brembos. Well the "factory boys" also have relocated injectors but that is a different story 😅. Anyways the point is that gasgas is cheaper because they chepaed out on a few parts
Bought it used with 10hrs on the clock so not a good comparison to a new one. Bought the wheels used also. I’m guessing £9k in total more or less with TSP kit, etc.

Keep an eye on the radiator mounts on the frame they aren’t welded all the way round like the ktm and I’ve seen them break off on impacts

100% agree. We change the triple clamps, usually gearing, etc. Anyway so the differences doesn’t matter to us.
