I think the cinnamon is cheaper because it is cheaper to produce. Certain herbs and spices are harder to harvest and dry to create the herbs and spices you buy in the store so some are costlier than others.
The price of spices varies based on what the spice is. You can’t compare the price/size of two completely different spices. For example saffron is hundreds of dollars an ounce, but cinnamon is much much less. Where your spice originates from also plays a huge role. Vanilla from Mexico is far cheaper than vanilla from Madagascar.
I also enjoy and appreciate both the grocery hauls and the meal plans! I will watch either way you decide - separated or together! I look forward to “Lemonade Mom” time! 😃
I thoroughly enjoy your grocery hauls & meal plans. It makes no difference to me whether they are in the same video or separate. I would however, enjoy more information about your meal plans. Like not only what you are going to have but also how you go about cooking it & maybe some recipes. Thanks for all of your help!!!!
I like seeing both the hauls and meal plans. I would love for you to break them up and give more details on the meal planning part. Great video as always! Happy Anniversary!! 🍾🥂
Love the breakdown of everything! Yummy meal plan! Happy late anniversary!! I like the haul with the meal plan but I would watch them separately if you uploaded them that way. Whatever is easier for you :)
I always watch til the very end. I love seeing the grocery hauls, but I also really love seeing the meal plans. I get some really good ideas for my own meals. So it doesn't matter to me if they're in the same or different videos. I'll watch both either way 😊.
I love Krusteaz Pancake Mix, it's easy and you can mix it with water or milk and the pancakes come out perfect. I also always use the Bertolli Spaghetti Sauce in a jar, you got a great price, here in California we pay over $4 a jar. I enjoy the hauls and the meal plan, it gives me ideas when I run out. Thanks for sharing your families time and ideas with us.
I do prefer shorter videos and I do sometimes leave before the end not just with you but with other channels - but I tend to leave when I think it's ending - will still watch your channel which ever way you decide to do it - thank you for giving me some inspiration
Like the breakdown of prices that was cool to see how different the prices are down in Texas. I like the grocery haul and I do watch the meal plan and between you and Kiera I can plan a week of meals easy.💕
I LOVE the meal plans! I’m ok with either way you choose to share them just don’t cut them out. Happy Anniversary to you and Mark!🎉 I hope you guys have a fabulous day. Also wanted to say that my twin and I have a birthday on Friday the 31t so I was yelling go out to eat on Friday to celebrate back to school and my birthday Lol 😂
I watch both the meal plan and the haul- I would watch them separately too though :) I haven’t caught you guys live for so long! Miss chatting with you!!!
I will watch your videos either way. I'd like to see how you figure out what to fix though. I'm going on my third week of meal planning for one and it's been a trial. I'd love some tips. When I make a big meal that I know will be too much for me I invite my son over. I still end up with plenty for the freezer.
My local DT has spices. Have you tried their spices? Good haul :) Sam's Club and Costco have spices and packs for common spices for a reasonable price. I also buy spices from Aldi's or Trader Joes. Happy Anniversary! We did the same thing this year. We both worked on the actual date so we waited for the weekend to celebrate. I just LOVE the FALL! I watch both your grocery haul and meal plan. I'll watch them together or separate. Meal plan separate works for me:) Until next time...
I buy my taco seasoning and ranch seasoning in big containers from Sam's :) I don't think I've ever purchased seasonings from the dollar tree, will have to check them out next time!
A gallon of milk is $3.99 in Massachusetts where I grew up. Now I'm living in Japan and milk is sold in 1L cartons for $1.30 for fat free and $1.70 for whole milk-- 3.8L equals one gallon (I think), so it's like $6/gallon here!
Hi Vanessa , Have you ever the tried slicing the turkey dogs(not boiled etc.) and putting them in a salad ? We had them on our high school salad lunch bar . I liked it as well. Finally the cafeteria manager had to stop having the dogs due to cost and demand. . Love watching your family. Mark looks like he's lost some weight working at the tiny home .
Either or but breaking the meal planning out sounds good. That would help with ideas and strategies on how to come up with maybe other ways of doing things.
I buy quite a few of those every month. The chicken fried rice is a particular favorite. Milk here is $1.18. Nothing wrong with going with the walmart brand. If you open my cabinets there is probably 90 percent store brand, if not Walmart, then Aldi or Kroger. Happy Anniversary. I watch your meal plan, it gives me ideas!
Some spices are harder to grow/produce than others. Nutmeg is also probably out of season...watch the price fall in a month. I use ground mace in a cookie recipe (like 1/2 tsp), and ground mace is expensive. But 1-2 batches of cookies a year means the mace lasts for years. Our nutmeg seems to only get used in eggnog so it lasts forever as well. What hurts is McCormick Greek seasoning is really hard to find & it's $10 per jar. I'm looking at recipes to make it myself, but nothing tastes the same yet. I try to buy spices from the bulk bin at sprouts (or central market for more obscure ones). It's generally half the price & you just refill your old containers. Those red plastic McCormick jars don't keep moisture out. I'm slowly buying McCormick glass jars on sale/clearance for spices we use often & washing them to put the plastic jars contents into. Lemon pepper and garlic & herb will get their new homes this week.
@@LifebyVanessa omg why on earth would you do that to yourselves? Hope its just temporary while a bigger house is built...dont you have a couple huge dogs and a cat too? #nope

That totally makes sense, I was so caught up on the price difference that it didn't even occur to me of the difference in the spices!
I also enjoy and appreciate both the grocery hauls and the meal plans! I will watch either way you decide - separated or together! I look forward to “Lemonade Mom” time! 😃
Love seeing the meal plan! Gives me ideas for the week when you share your meal plan.

The Sara Lee bread is our favorite. It's seems to stay nice and soft longer.

I've never tried hotdogs in a salad, I must admit it sounds weird but can't knock it until I try it!
You didnt get any yocrunch m&m yogurt!
That is so awesome you noticed! Rose hasn't been eating as much lately so I still have some from last week :)
@@LifebyVanessa lol i even watched the whole video 2xs thinking maybe you skipped it some how its my daughter's favorite also!
DT has a huge sage bottle. I’ve tried it and it’s comparable to the name brand.
Including cinnamon! Tried as well. No nutmeg though.
I saw someplace that you can find a receipt that can be used for Ibotta but can’t find out how.
Have you found it.
Tx
I always thought you couldn't use ibotta on walmart grocery pickup. If you find out how let me know!
I think additional info on how you come up with your meal plan would be awesome.
I can never find the Jennie o hotdog in a big pack I love the Sara Lee bread
I like the grocery hauls

I save the farmers market jars when i buy that sauce
I like it the way you've been doing it

I will watch either way because I love you lol but I think the separate videos would be cool!
Love you too!
I think separate would be cool but I will still watch either way.
I kind of like them together. It helps me with The Plan. :) But either way is fine. XO Lisa
1 video is good but I would watch either way! 😊😊😊
I need all the ideas I can get...so a separate video would be cool.
I’d watch whatever videos you make. :)
Do you think the cost of living is cheaper in Texas ?
It is cheaper than a lot of places, yes :)
I like the video like it is but will watch either way.
You should get your spices at the Dollar Tree......:)
Included or separate I’d watch both anyway. So I really am no hep
Lol
Wait..."tiny" home? Don't tell me you're moving your family of 6 into 200 square feet.......
It's under 700 square feet.

Break it up into two videos. It makes it too long if it is together.
