@@hydro1089 Ken Penders was one of the writers who worked for Archie comics but when SEGA released a sonic game called Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood Penders got really mad at them because that game included lots of echidna characters whose designs looked similar to the ones Penders created for Archie. So he thought that SEGA stole his ideas, sued them and unfortunately he won the lawsuit and forbade Archie from using his characters from now on. Some of his characters included Mina Mongoose, Julie-Su, Scourge the Hedgehog and Fiona... They won't appear in the comics anymore....

Man, thanks to Ken Penders, we’ll never see Scourge and his recent adventures. Darn it LOL!! IDW Publishing makes Sonic’s comics now for Sega. It would be cool to see Scourge or an evil Sonic in the future Sonic films. Scourge is basically Sonic turned heel.
Ok rewatching this since I used to watch these as a kid and I just noticed an angry bird as one of the prisoners 🤣 Still excellent job to you all this is one of my inspirations for comic dubs

As sucky as it is that we never got to see what Scourge's plans with the Destructix were, I at least think it's nice that his final on-panel moments before the reboot/SGW consisted of him successfully overcoming a daunting situation and triumphantly making his escape from Zone prison while getting some payback with interest on everyone that pushed him around there.
