Great question! 😀When you start your IELTS Reading test, read the first question and then have a look at the passage and scan it. This helps you find the relevant part of the passage quickly. Then have a closer look at that part of the passage and figure out the correct answer.
She did it in 20m and still have lot of time to chit chat with us. While me do passage over 20m with high concentration and still not finish😂. What a different between 9.0 and 5.0

Ma'am, could you please start a series about reading synonyms which are the most commonly used in reading module because I often get confused and that's why i got 5 bands in reading module 😢
Great question! 😀 The passage says that the full rhyme for "curry" is Ruby Murray who is a famous singer. Now take a closer look at the statement. The question is where the word for "curry" in rhyming slang comes from. It comes from Murray because curry rhymes with Murray, and Murray is a surname. So, the correct answer is TRUE.
Why did you use letters twice in matching paragraphs(questions 1 to 5) although the instruction does not mention that we can use the same letter more than once. Would you clarify more please? Best regards.
If you take a closer look at the instructions, you can see that it says: NB. You may use any letter more than once. This means that you can use a letter several times 😀
@@IELTS-with-Juvaoh I really did not notice that 😢this is why I got only 5 in my 2 attempts 😢I appreciate your clarification. Best regards

@@IELTS-with-Juva can we infer that in the question where there is this note: NB you may you any letter more than once it should be at least two statements with the same letter or not necessarily?
@ Don't worry! When practicing make sure you read the instructions carefully. If you practice doing this, you'll get used to it and so it will be easier for you to do it when you take the IELTS.
This is a great question! 😀 "Fairly unusual" means something is uncommon or not typical. "Unique" means that something is completely different from anything else. So, if something is fairly unusual it's a bit out of the ordinary, but not unique. Consequently, the correct answer is FALSE because the statement says that Bugs Bunny is a unique example of rhyming slang, while the passage states that it's fairly unusual.

I ran into the same doubt, so I turned to the comment section in order to inquire. Having said that, shouldn't that statement be True instead of False? However, I want to thank Ms Juva for her effort! :)
@@zibraanahmed1812 The text says "fairly unusual", which means it is somewhat uncommon, not completely unique. However, the question specifically asks if "Bugs Bunny is a unique example because both words must be said." The correct answer is FALSE because: The passage does not state that "Bugs Bunny" is the only example (which would make it unique). It just says it's a "fairly unusual" instance, meaning it’s not common, but not entirely one-of-a-kind. "Unique" implies there are no other examples like it, which is not confirmed in the text.

Im perplexed now quite confused ! In previous videos you mention we should read the passage and then go to which choose match the passage! And now become vice versa
When you start your IELTS Reading test, start with reading the questions. You must know what the questions are about to know what you need to look for in the passage. If you read the passage first, you waste valuable time because you don't know what you need to look for. When you have read the questions scan the passage for the information you need and once you have found the relevant part, read that part more closely to find the correct answer. I hope this helps! 😀
