I did the same as you, I took my backpack went out in the woods sat down had my cup of coffee. So nice! Next weekend I will tent. Thank you for inspiration and beatiful films Erik!
I enjoyed the longer format. You're the Boss with that Firebox stove..! I like how you show how to use bigger pieces of wood in the box and just push them to the side for cooking. You don't see that technique anywhere else... Most people think they have to cut the wood to fit into the box, and you show how to use bigger pieces... allowing you to not have to replenish the wood as much. Great job.
The sound of the wind and water are so soothing, the occasional crow stopping by for a chat, the way you highlight the flora around you...well done as always! A gorgeous feast for the soul.
For everyone that loves the woods and wildlife as I do, we need to support land conservation as much as we can. Support Nature Conservancy and organizations that conserve land. Development has taken over almost all the woods here in Georgia where I live. Thanks
I always look forward to your videos, and each time you manage to bring a very composed and quiet setting. Each sound, each shot, each thing you do, I mean food selection. You make everything that much more desirable. You make coffee, I want coffee, you eat food, I wanna eat, you make a fire 🔥, I wanna camp out and make a fire, you sit still and everything around you soak saturate you and your environment along with you simply liquifies into one moment, one existence, one body. Man please slowly hurry up and provide yet another movie.. I say slowly because I’m still basking in the moment of the afterthought of your video well after it’s ended. I say hurry up, because once I’ve taken it all in... I’m ready for the next. You really do spoil us and leave us thirsty for more of what’s next to come from you. I thank you for your shared journeys. Namaste
I just want to tell you how important these videos are for my mother, who is disabled and can no longer go out to enjoy nature. Your videos, free of the ridiculous, dramatic commentary that are part of too many hikers' videos here in North America, allow her to feel the sense of peace that being out in nature used to give her.
We really need some rain here in Iowa, everything is parched and crispy. This damp landscape was a nice change. Great video once again Erik, enjoyed it.
I shocked a friend who is a coffee aficionado by describing how I make it when I am in the mountains. The mountain water, the atmosphere and the yearning for the taste make it a pleasure. Thanks.
i love these rain in the forest glypses, only 7- viewed these over and over again, your art is one of a kind, you make the perfect protagonist, the occasional pensive gaze and moan are priceless
What hidden gem! The colors and textures of the forest. The smell of the forest especially with rain must be intoxicatingly wonderful. I’m sure there must be sounds of little birds( I’m deaf) You had the best seat in the house for coffee and lunch. Thanks for sharing Eric👍 Trail on!
Hur vacker natur är fri från mänsklig smuts. Jag gillade många kläder och skor. Tack för det här avsnittet av den vackra naturen. Vi ber Gud att komma i ljuset.
That was a nice place to have a break. Green forest and the sound of running water. Does anyone else feel sleepy...so relaxing! Great video and take care 🇨🇦 ❤️
Thanks Erik for sharing with all of us your genuine love for the Nature. You tought me a lot good things such as how to stay in Nature, hearing, breathing... mostly that what we need it's just there, close to us. Bye Luigi
The folding firebox is amazing, i use wood when I can find them, Trangia meth burner if I can’t find wood, and Trangia gas burner when I want a quick one and I only have the older version, I can’t imagine what Gen II is like.
0:26 is Swedish prehistoric Komodo dragon. 🙂 Superb Erik! It’s 38 C where I am now and I can feel the rainy ambience . It’s one my favorite time of the day, oh and the fragrant rainy atmosphere.. Thanks, Erik! You’re the best!
Erik, the images in the beginning of this film are so stunning they transcend everything else, as much as Im an avid outdoorsman you could abandon that theme for one of your films and do pure art, you have the eye!......Bama Rick
I've been using firebox stove, 3 years + ?. Leather gloves, work type, insulated, essential. Also good for hot wood/pans and anything else red hot. Part of my essential kit, now, leather work gloves. Get some.
Thanks for another edition of sharing your world Erik. Its a good world! Looking forward to seeing where you will bring us all next week. In todays reality of masks and limitations of movement, you free my mind for a few minutes. Thank you!

Like it that you use different stoves, in my opinion Trangia is best by far.Its so simple,a complete cook system and no pumps or gaskets to fail.
The greenery is so beautiful and captivating! Thanks Erik
Thank you, Erik, for another jewel of a video. And ripe blueberries! Ours are still green, here in northern Michigan (USA).
You inspire so many people. Thank you!

Tack Erik!
THANKS FOR THE UPLOAD, BEAUTIFUL SWEDS NATURE. CHEERS ERIK, FROM SWISS CHRIS.
Great outdoors 😍
Watching from Philippines 😊
Beautiful! It looks like Oregon.
After the rain is before the rain. ... 👍
Tack Erik!
For those 18 minutes, I was lost in woods Orchestra.... Thanks
I've been using firebox stove, 3 years + ?. Leather gloves, work type, insulated, essential. Also good for hot wood/pans and anything else red hot. Part of my essential kit, now, leather work gloves. Get some.
I made a little stove similar to the one shown. I don't have to light a fire on the ground and so leave unscorched earth.
Thanks for another edition of sharing your world Erik. Its a good world! Looking forward to seeing where you will bring us all next week. In todays reality of masks and limitations of movement, you free my mind for a few minutes. Thank you!
