How you don't have 100k subscribers is a mystery to me. Looking forward to the new season!
Welcome back to Norway finally Billy 😂, great video and thanks for the great advice about fishing deep in the fjords 👍👍 keep up the good work and can’t wait for the next video 🎉🎉
You're of to a good start on day one Billy. Looking forward to the next instalment.
This video clarity and the nature is phenomenal great content Billy keep it up buddy 👏🏼
Oy oy BILLY happy to see you again. Hope everything is settled and you are back on the fish. Tight lines, sir.
Thanks brother, great to be back! And great to be fishing again 😁👌
Another banger of a video! Wish i had access to such deep waters off the shore. Thanks for taking me along. Cheers from the USA
Hi Paul. I have fished many places, with water just as deep! But the powers in charge, let them be raped. Much better to have shallow water and conservation, unless you live in Norway with both. Thanks my American brother 😁👌
Hi Billy, if there’s that many mackerel at that venue the fish that are gorging on them must be huge. Can’t wait to see what you catch on bait. Fish on🐟🇳🇴
Hi Billy I'm glad to see you back at our favourite fishing grounds...
I see that you are making your own lures I can't fault you for doing this .if like myself you make one that never fails to produce a fish.
Start manufacturing it for yourself.. over the decades I have met many people who do this for a living..in a host of countries ..
Some of Thier lures you would never think would actually work. Many times I have been proven wrong.
I always think outside the box when making a new fly or lure design...I had a very close friend that used to build rods for me .
Very often I would ask if he was certain that the rod would perform as I wanted it to do..to be perfectly honest they never failed ..no matter how big the fish was
35 lb cod on a fly rod meant for trout fishing???
120 lb lemon shark on a 8 ft.spinning rod.??? my days of chasing monster fish is sadly over..
This is why I truly enjoy watching people like yourself striving to catch a fish pelole can only dream about my hope is that you achieve your goal and catch the monster fish you are chasing... anyway billy keep safe and above all stay well.. you have a knack of producing very interesting and informative videos . for people to watch..
Yes Wayne, I could not agree more! It is the essence of what fishing truly is. Thanks brother 😁👌
Great video thanks Billy. I love these marks you find in Norway where you can pretty much fish from the boot of your car - ideal for old gits like me who aren't as fit as they used to be! Like the new rod too. Tight lines, stay safe & well. 🎣🎣👍👍
Hi Trampbudy. There are quite a few marks like that in Norway, a lot of old gits that fish them 😅 thanks brother glad you liked it 😁👌
Thise mackerel look like so much fun! Awesome looking little fish as well. Cheers brother!
Hi Joe! Yep, they are a lot of fun. And they taste great too. They used to be one of the most common summer fish over our side of the world. The commercials have damaged the stocks really badly.
@Billyfishing_watch don't get me. Started on commercial fishing. Imagine if we had our modern tackle but we traveled through time to the 18th century... how amazing would that be?
Nice billy great start into the fish straight away, plenty more I'm sure,,looks a great little summer set up,hope you hit some big fish on that,be good to watch, two weeks and I'm over 🇳🇴👍good Luck billy, hope you bag up🎣🎣 👍
Thanks Junky! It's always nice to get a running start. Tight lines Brother 😁👌
Great video as always, some good Mackerel, and one at a time for good sport.
I just love mackerel fishing with a small metal. Great session Billy!!
They don't get the credit they're Jew! My Viking Brother, thanks bud😁👌
Great stuff Billy ya can't beat a good session on decent mackerel...great craic!
Thanks Ciaran, can't beat a bit of macky bashing. Tight lines brother 😁👌
I want to say thank you for all your information
That helped me a lot and I got real big cods from the shore.
Pollaks where not the biggest because the big ones I didn't get out of the water thx Billy
I hope your car woes are sorted (or at least well on the way). My daughter and I are heading to Norway at the end of July for a few weeks. I am really looking forward to showing her the country, and I may have to demonstrate how to catch a fish or three... 🙂
We may bring the kayaks as well, just to make things even more interesting 😁
Thanks for another great video
Noice to finally see you get the stick wet Billy! I'm really excited for the mackerel season, I miss the taste of fresh mackerel😅. Really need to fill the freezer with bait as well.
Thanks Brother. You can't beat a bit of fresh mackerel! hope you back up, and fill your freezer 😁👌
Cracking good start to the campaign Billy, and your jig is obviously a winner straight off the bat! And yeah, you know I'm looking forward to the bait sesh video on that spot. I want to know what's eating all those big macks! 🙌🏻🙌🏻
Hi Pete, and thank you! Nothing is easing those mackerel, accept me 😋 that's why there's so many of them 🤣👌
Nice, well done! Fried mackerel with potatoes, lemon and sour cream is amazing summer food :)
Thanks Billy.
I have had a really crappy day and you have ended it on a high note.
You are a breath of fresh air 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
Hi Garrie. Sorry to hear you had a crappy day, but I'm glad I made it better! Thanks brother see you in the beach 😁👌
We are just coming off our winter flounder run, and it was an amazing year for them. Our macs should be showing up any time now and with them come the big stripe bass. You just got me excited to get a few for the pan.
That sounds just fantastic David, hope they pull your arms off! Thanks Brother 😁👌
Glad to have you back in norway, If you ever catch a fish within an hour of Kirstiansand I need a full tutorial, cause I can't for the life of me!
I don't think it's you, you just haven't found where the fish are yet! Keep casting brother 😁👌
Yes finally a new video and back in norway👏
@@Billyfishing_watchi saw that you hot alot of mackerel. Do you have any tips for me to catch them? I say plenty going to the surface of the water yesterday but they didn’t eat
Will drive to Lofoten tomorrow. From Porsgrunn. And I made my first assist hooks for shore jigging today. based on Billy tips!!!! So excited to try fishing in northern Norway.
Hi bud. You're in for one hell of an experience! Tight lines brother 😁👌
Can’t beat a bit of maccy bashing mate , cracking video to start the tour ! appreciated as always Billy🎣🤘🏼
Thanks Paul. once the fish Pull, and they keep biting. Everybody's happy! Thanks Brother 😁👌
🎶 Hello Billy, well hello Billy, it’s so nice to see you back where you belong… 🎶🎣🐟🐡🐠
Nice one Billy who doesn't love catching a few chunky Mackerel! I believe the is some very good Turbot fishing in Southern Norway in the sandy/shingle area's? One of them on a lure would be pretty wicked! 😉🇧🇻🇧🇻🎣👍
Hi Damien. Thanks bud, there sure is some good Turbot! And I know some good marks, let's see what the future holds. Tight lines brother 😁👌
Madness. In the north of England i use 6 feathers and a dexter for a weight and still blank sometimes during the summer months. Norway Rocks.
Hi Barry. As it goes that place is even quite special for Norway. There is a fish plant at the end with an effluent pipe, that seems to hold fish their most of the year. Thanks Brother 😁👌
@@Billyfishing_watch I would love to see the Dexter and feathers where you were fishing. 🎣🎣🎣🎣🎣🎣🎣🎣
Unfortunately Barry, I am no longer there. But I'll see what I can do later on in the season. 👌
Nice day out, reminds me of Ardglass pier in my youth. Looking forward to more of these.
Cant wait to go down south this summer. I need some mackerell in my life😁
@@Billyfishing_watch on the coast yes, but in Trondheim the comercial guys say they are not here in the shallows before august. Caught my first topwater pollock recently so now on the hunt for a 80cm pollock
@BoMathys congratulations on your top water pollock, that 80 cm fish is going to be tough. Bottom shore you'll enjoy every minute of it, tight lines 👌
@@Billyfishing_watchCaught a two 80cm and one 90cm pollock on topwater last night😁 On my light rod, PE 0.6, and 0.35mm leader. It was a blast
Brother, lovin the videos. I would like to see some big halibut videos. If you find the time. California chiming in.
Hi Reaper. Much appreciated Brother, follow the link. If these fish are not big enough! I see what I can do 😁👌
Awesome Billy brother! do you know for any bikes for sale blew the turbo on the van lol
Funny you should ask, I know a guy who has a bicycle for sale. Only one careful user 🤣 thanks Brother 😁👌
Hallo Billy, Nice video from Norway! Where is this shore ? 🇳🇴🎣
The fjord is listed in the description, the spot is at the very end! Thanks Brother 😁👌
Hi Billy, thanks for this video. I'm going to be staying near Kristiansand and trying some fishing with my son in the first week of August. We're next to the fjord, and we have access to a small boat. Do you have any advice?
Hi bud. There should be plenty of mackerel, and possibly some Pollock and cod! A good way to fish is a string of feathers dated with mackerel close to the bottom! Don't fish too deep 15 to 20 meters, and you should be good. Tight lines brother 😁👌
@@Billyfishing_watch Thank you so much! I found your advice about not fishing too deep really interesting. I just sort of assumed that the deeper you fish , the bigger they get 😀 We're hoping to catch a bunch of mackerel of course, and my ambition is to make fish and chips with some fresh Cod, or some fish soup or pie with Pollock.
Good vid i wish i know some deep spots like this in Ireland where i go on piers is all shallow or max 10m :P (iam from co.mayo)
You live in the most beautiful place in Ireland! Who needs deep water! Thanks Brother 😁👌
@@Billyfishing_watch tommorow we will see how lucky iam i will try lure fishing on pollock and macrel 😉have a good one Billy
Hey Billy
I was now 4 weeks in Norway got a lot of cod and Pollak but I like to have some makrel before we go home
In wich area are you
Im going tomorrow to Lillehammer and then go to the South
We have our table smoker with us😅 only for some makrel
The place I was fishing, is right at the end of Feda fjord. The rest is up to you brother 😁👌
Mackerel l season is just now beginning. The further south the more there should be. But I've heard reports of them finally being in the central part of the country.
We don't know right now if we go over Sweden Denmark home or we go larvik hirtshals... Do you think the makrel is now on the swedish coast too? We have the last 10 days of our holiday and that means I will have another one or two days to go fishing 🎣
what you mean when you say the water got loads of tanning in it ? at 5 mins 25?
Hey bud, when I say the water's got lots of tannin in it! I mean it's dark like coffee. The tannin is produced by the plants on the side of the mountains. So I like to fish jigs that have flash and UV colors in them. Thanks Brother 😁👌
@@Billyfishing_watch your the man billy. Thanks for the reply and explanation
Good to see you back Billy.will you be back on irish shores anytime this summer? Is there any of mackerel around north donegal anyone???
I will probably not be back in Ireland this year. And yes there are plenty of mackerel in Donegal, thanks Brother 😁👌
@Billyfishing_watch the fishing in Norway looks incredible Billy. I will head up around where you caught those congers in donegal on Wednesday and 🤞 there's a few about. Tight lines pal🎣
Just spent an hour and a half watching England try to play football absolutely shocking. Then watched your vid and its made me happy again . Good to have u back billy boy . See ya on the beach
Glad to be of service brother! 🤣 I hope they do better next time, see you on the beach 😁👌
That's not real football. 😂😂
Hey there Billy,.. perhaps one of these days, you might hop over to this side of the pond and try some Striper Bass fishing in the surf... either West or Eastcoast .....you won't be disappointed 👍😎🤙
@@jaaron2834 maybe someday brother, that's something I've always wanted to do 👌
