ah, 40mm :P are you still on the 7-2 rod ? I had to send back my 38mm lectron, there was like no way i was getting it tuned 100% went trough several rods. no i had them fixing me a 40mm, but I kinda lean against a 44mm. what du you think? also i`m using my brc 500 for the roads :P supermoto B)
@@michaelharrison7173 Thx for answering :) how is it to start btw? for my 38 atleast it was super hard to start and no idle when it was running the best, and when it almost started okay and had some idle. all the power was gone :P
@@gnagsaar_ yeah that is why I went to the 8-1. This engine wants a ton of fuel to start and idle. Mine is an SX and street legal. I want it to idle and start well.
@@michaelharrison7173 noted, i`m gonna ask what rod they are planning for me :P But thats odd, they told me to "keep leaning it out" intil i get idle, that sounds like the oposite from what you are doing :/ And it worked for better start and idle :P but as i keep leaning i lost my middle/top end power
@@gnagsaar_ yeah I have worked with a moded slide to lean the idle a out and keep the needle at a rich setting. That worked but still started hard. The best setup I have tried is 8-1 with standard slide at 2.025 or something like that. Will know more this weekend. But even with this setup 1/4 turn to lean on the rod and it is almost impossible to kick start.

I am now running a 8-1. I am hoping to get some riding in this weekend and get it dialed in.

what size lectron?
Buy a 125 and learn to ride you ride slower on a 500 then if you were on a 125
he does lug it around a lot
