- It has been a year since I put together a Sazabi. After a while, I wanted to get my hands on another gunpla project.
The Models I used are a Gundam Ver Ka, and an old Zaku model that my kids have been playing with for a few years, it was not broken but bits and pieces were missing.
I wanted to make the Gundam stand out, making it look shiny, that's why I used the Pearl White on top of Vallejo White. Combined with the other colours, the results are amazing.
For the robots and core fighter I used:
- Vallejo grey primer (Zaku).
- Vallejo white primer (Gundam).
- Tamiya clear blue.
- Tamiya clear red.
- Tamiya clear orange.
- Tamiya clear green. (the gundam eyes)
- Tamiya gun metal.
- Tamiya titanium silver.
- Tamiya titanium gold.
- Tamiya green.
- Tamiya german grey.
- Tamiya chrome silver.
- Hobbynox Airbrush Paint Pearl White (HN24000).
For the landscape:
- Vallejo primer black.
- Vallejo primer grey.
- Vallejo pale sand.
- Vallejo red.
- Tamiya black.
- Tamiya grey.
- Tamiya browns and green for the trees.
- Black 3.0 by Stuart Semple for the background.
- Oil paints white and yellow for the road.
Lights
For the fires: 5 mm LEDs red, yellow and white.
For the zaku: 3 mm LED orange.
For the gundam: 1mm white LED.
wires, etc to put it all together and make it work.
