Okay, this is, all in all, the BEST Hetalia skit I've EVER seen. =D I admit I was almost in tears and some points. And I love the reunion and China's Marukaite Chikyuu at the end. ;)

The threw in fanservice! Won me over :3 But seriously, some of the history presented in this skit was either inaccurate or misinterpreted! It was well played out and danced, but I would like to know why some things were as they were!
In WWII, England, France, and Russia try fighting first, France was taken over, and Russia dropped out of the war. Britain needed help, but when Japan attacked America, they came into the war. IDK how China got into the war though, that stated.
China fought against Japan's invasion for 8 years during WWII (1937-1945). A lot of people died. The Japanese military committed a lot of war crimes during that period, including "The Asian Auschwitz of Unit 731", Nanking massacre…but they never apologize after the war and even justify their crimes in their history textbooks. Nobody seems to care about this history except Chinese. Hopeless.
Can’t believe I found this old gem. It’s beautiful. The swords dance with China and Prussia puppeteering Germany especially. ...Though the Taiwan holding the PRC flag at the flag makes me feel... eh. Are they trying to say something?
It's simple. We want a reunion, in a peaceful way of course. Decades ago people in Taiwan also wanted a reunion. Sadly it goes the other way around now.

@@wannabehistorian371 I respect your opinion though I hold a different one. I'm Chinese and I always put my country's interest in the first place. Politicians in Taiwan now all show affinity to the US because they can only count on this superpower, but the US won't help them without any profit. Once Taiwan went independent through the support of the US, there would be a terrible threat to China from the pacific ocean.

And while it is allying with the US due to its geopolitical interests, if China renounced all claims to it it would have no reason to. Taiwan is also just looking out for its own interests, because that’s what geopolitics is, and geopolitics is a two-way street. And as someone who used to live in the US and lives in Japan, I think that this being able to agree to disagree shows a fundamental reason why Taiwan would be apprehensive about joining the mainland. Again, different values. Also I generally don’t like it when nations are shown acting in ways that the people there would find insulting. Like here the Baltic trio being loyal to the USSR also irks me a bit. And it’s also why I feel like flipping a table whenever Austria and Hungary are shown as a happy couple.

They doubt the CCP but are also disappointed by the government and ignorant, brainwashed people in Taiwan. Well, they seem to be not doing well sometimes (I'm not saying it's a reason for reunification, just pointing it out). Taiwan has never been recognized as a country, what does "ally" mean? As for different values, I understand totally. I sincerely hope that someday we can achieve true democracy by reformation, when media is fair and most people rational, and make China great again (oh sh I sound like Trump but that really is what I mean). Then the reunification will not be a problem, and no other country will benefit from the split of China. Maybe you would see this as impossible and me naive, but I really hope so. (Sorry, my standpoint on this issue is almost impossible to change, but I'm happy to know other opinions. So you can reply but might be disappointed by my stubbornness.)
