Very good sharing Mr.Madhavan particularly REIT is past 60 years in abroads, but in india just past 4 years !!!! Why this much delay even government not have sufficient awareness. Moreover you have told that like a real estate property won't get appriciation!!! Why sir REIT share price is based on property value, when property value raised REIT share price also should increase am i right? Thanks lot for you and vikatan team.
Generally they give dividends and the actually share price wont appreciate for long term. If we hold the REIT shares for 5 years, its price will be same as what we bought 5 years back. But it may not be the case for real estate where value normally appreciates.
