BBOY T H E S I S.... What a legend. This guy inspired me throughout my Breakdancing journey more than anyone so far. Such musicality, creativity, originality, dope moves, etc. Definitely took that in my opinion.
Seeing Thesis battle live, he is something else. He isnt the flashiest but he is super clean and original. If this wasnt BC One, he would take this battle.
Thesis needed energy. Lil zoo cam out strong and was clearly dominant and was going out and having a good time. thesis was hindered by his lack of energy. But none the less a great battle

You'd be surprised at how many bboys use scripted sets tbh. The only differences with thesis' sets are that he adapts his to the music at hand and he also branches out as well as expands/improvises upon some of the moves in his sets for better effects

Every single battle now from beginning to end, Thesis will do an entire scripted set start to finish and simply gets lucky whenever he hits the beat. There’s an Instagram post where he straight up admits it too. He used to be 1000x better before when he would do just mini combos like Alkolil. His injury and mental health just caught up to him.
Too bad for Thesis! i'm a lil zoo fan and i have to admit that before this battle i was very worried about Thesis he had an amazing year and once he is in a good shape no one can stop him i don't know what happens to him he was supposed to play more musicality and top rock. Anyways lil zoo didnt make it this year ... 2018 may be !

Thesis has one major weakness: his entire sets are completely predetermined. They're not fresh. You can tell what he's going to do from just how he starts a thread. Which why he lost. Judges probably prefer more free-bboys. Both of these guys were dope.
so as Lil zoo (I watch him from BC 2013, he had new moves but still predictable) and esp Korean bboy (Pocket, Octopus, Kill, ...) Those are their signature moves I supposed. You can't expect them to come up with 100% new move during the battle. Respect for both bboy anyway

RoadTo 2k Thesis is more predictable than Lil Zoo. That's what I'm saying. Lil Zoo has signature moves and combos that you can identify, but he'll occasionally switch up said combos. Thesis' sets never change order, in any way. That's what I'm saying.

People choke sometimes, this event is probably the most mentally difficult bboy comp around, maybe even physically since there is little rest in between battles.

Just adds an extra sense of excitement to who will take the battle out of three or five rounds. Plus I feel it encourages competitors to just go all out every round to avoid having to go a third, along with seeing a judge’s votes in real-time.
The way I see it there's less questionable decisions in SBO because of the larger number of judges (7 vs 5 for BC One). Seems to me that SBO knows how to make the KOZEN system work, while BC One and Undisputed are clueless in that aspect. That adrenaline rush I got when I saw Hong 10 tying with Shigekix or Issei tying with El Nino in SBO 15 and 16 respectively was awesome. Undisputed 2016 on the other hand was possibly the worst high profile event this year in my books. BBoys were flat out giving up in some cases as they were getting demotivated by the results and being forced to do a third round when they had already lost anyway (Victor vs Issei Victor threw his third round, Issei vs Soso Soso didn't even bother doing anything in his third round)
