Honestly, I was kind of disappointed that the last modern day zombot battle wasn't some sort of "Time-o-tron" where Zomboss decides to fight you again. But because he's been travelling through time so often, the robot became comically unstable and breaks mid intro. In the end, you and zomboss continuously teleport through all the different timelines. Each world, zombot will have 1 full block of health and his attacks will be from that world's boss. This goes on until you visit modern day again. This time, the zombot will fail one final time before resetting Dave, Zomboss, and You to the first ever zombot battle you've encountered, the roof level from the OG PvZ, it would be a good homage and nostalgia treat for the veterans and true fans, while the newcomers can enjoy this battle for the first time

Sky city has the most stressful boss battle ive ever seen
It's very easy with maxed plants
I have only beat 3 bosses in my entire life
Me too I have played this Chinese version because it was to hard so I gave up

This is why you have to pick your plants wisely in order to defeat that boss, its better to pick a few flying plants because that reduces lots of space. And its also easy to beat the boss if your plants are on level 3,4, or 5

Man, I wish we had Sky City for the international release. I don't even mind if they kept the original difficulty to the world, which was reportedly very very hard, as long as we got that Zombot Vulture fight.

Can we acknowledge the fact that these things that Dr.Zomboss pilots are a pretty scary concept.
I mean, they have an eye in the middle that can show feelings if pain possibly making it organic.
And it’s hooked up to something else entirely, imagine how the insides would be, how the heck is it saying together?
And they always are modeled like a spider of some sort, and the way it creeps around, observing the plants.
And it opens its jaw abnormaly, Fricking scary.

He is constantly smiling and laughing, he still shows actual emotion rather than other zombies.
It seems as if he went crazy.

I dont know how people look at the chinese version and get jealous of it the plants are all unbalanced, poorly made and have much worse animation and sound design just look at plants like the Ent which is literally an unkillable wall for 100 sun and the animation also looks like crap. Sadly other games that get ported to china get treated like this for example terraria in china has payed items and alot of bs balancing. stop the "more content = better" the international version of pvz2 didnt have leveling for 4 years and the day they added it the balance of the game was ruined not all content is good.

Clearly the vulture fighter is like the most dangerous of all the zombots, i mean, almost nobody would stand a chance against that, some plants maybe can defeat it, but if zomboss made like many upgrades to his mechanic vulture, nobody but nobody at all will stand a chance, and will fall
The first 2 phases look much easier than neon mixtape tours boss, but the last phase looks like absolute cancer. And to top it off, you only get THREE lanes to plant on. I think what makes the last phase so hard is the fact that his clearing attack clears THE ENTIRE BOARD and CANNOT BE COUNTERED AT ALL and from what I saw, doesn’t even damage the zombies. So yeah, the first 2 phases look hard, but not impossible, but that last phase… and it would be pretty much impossible to beat without buying sun with gems which you have to PAY for to get enough to beat it. So yeah, I’m kinds glad this world doesn’t exist in the actual version of PvZ 2 lol

Yeah, Zombot is a very versatile robot Dr.Zomboss use. Aside from its variant, it can be utilized and upgrade in any way. We don't know if when and what world will be the finale but we hope that the final world will be the very first robot is the finale boss. We will wait for it very soon
I’m pretty sure EA said they aren’t making another world. It’s pretty obvious Modern Day was meant to be the final world given it brings the game full circle

They are really cool
You can play it by creating an account on the Chinese iOS app store and downloading it there, but the problem is the Chinese one tends to lag more, and the two games tend to be very different. The exclusive worlds are the only reason to play it. The exclusive plants are okayish and the zombies level up ridiculously faster than your plants do until you get ridiculous scenarios like a bucket head that tanks a cherry bomb.
I wish someone could decompile the game source and add the Chinese boss fights in.

@@CelesticEclipse That's true. Zomboss tends to team kill his own zombies if they get in his way while moving. That Garagantuar was too close to Zomboss and died immediately bc he couldn't get far enough away. I tend to use this strat to deal with groups of zombies
