Hi guys! How are you? I'm sad. But not because TVD is over, I'm sad about the horrible end that Stefan had. The kindest, good, best brother, best boyfriend, best friend who always cared for everyone and he always chose the others happiness over his own happiness, and then THEY KILL HIM. I never had hope in Kevin. And I'm not talking about Stelena. Of course they were not going to be endgame. But I feel like 8 years of my life was in vain. Stefan didn't deserve that ending. Everyone was happy and he was dead. It's not fair. For that reason I bid farewell to this beautiful character in a more joyful way. Because I feel he deserves it. Thank you Paul Wesley for these 8 years! I will miss you! You are the best of all! I wish you the best successes in your life! You deserve it!

This made me cry so hard. Stefan was always my favourite character. He was selfless, caring, kind, compassionate, funny, and just an overall good person. He deserved so much happiness. I'll miss him.
Me too... When I started watching TVD two years ago, I heard from everyone that Damon was the best, the most good loking... But since the first moment I heard Stefan's voice and his face I couldn't believe that there were so much people disliking him. He was so warm, sweet, loving, selfless. I think that I'll never forget him. He filled my heart when it was broken, he made me smile with his faces and made me dream when he gave so many attentions at every woman that he had. I love you, Stefan Salvatore ♡.

Meredith Pearce I think that one day I will rewatch all the seasons, bcs I can watch other series but any of these will be like TVD. I cried, I got angry, and many times disappointed, but any other can replace it in my heart. And all the credit goes to Stefan Salvatore. The best man, ripper, vampire, son, husband, brother ever. He IS the best Salvatore. I have to say that I hated Damon for a long time but thanks to Stefan I started to appreciatehim. He saw light in him and he let me do it. He taught me to see the good side of people. Thank you Paul for Stefan, The Ripper, Silas and Tom. I think I'll never love an actor like I did for him.
AzziLight yea I agree! I think Paul doesn't get nearly enough credit as he deserves. He played Stefan and all the other characters tremendously. Tvd has made me to laugh, cry, smile, scream, and curse at my tv, but no matter how many times I claim to hate this show, I always end up turning it on to watch it. Yea I know it's not the most critically acclaimed show and isn't in the top ten best tv shows of all time, but Tvd has a special place in my heart and no other tv show compares for me. I think one day I'll rewatch the whole thing but I'm just not ready yet, knowing that my favourite character is gone. Hopefully one day I will :)

naaat v yes! exactly! First 3 seasons are my all time best show! The rest are shit compared to the first 3 seasons. Stelena forever. I was done with TVD after she broke up with Stefan and slept with Damon in the same house she made love with Stefan the first time, and Stefan was there and heard them fucking and had to leave. That was the moment that changed this show for the worst.

Stefan deserved the world he was in pain for most of his 171 life just to sacrifise himself in the end. This video shows the good in his life which he had. there couldnt be any words more truthful than that they fucked his life up right after him and elena broke up and they made damon a happy ever after i mean stefan drowned for 3 months for damon and elena and got his heart literally ripped out because of them haha also he died on his wedding day for them haha
The show was Stefan's story so it had to end with him, which is why we see him die at the end of season 8.
To be fair it was Paul's idea to kill Stefan, and legit begged and so it happened it also makes sense because like the other person mentioned it started with Stefan so it has to end with him.

Ill admit im a Damon girl and I have been since season one. But ive been reacently rewatches episodes of tvd and I realised how perfect Stefan really is. He is so underrated in the sense that everyone just automatically likes damon more. Yes damon is funny and hot, but stefan would make the perfect husband/boyfriend/friend. I now realize I just wanna give that man a big giant hug lol. I love Paul Wesley

I loved stefan so so much. He was my favorite character on the show. Most people (especially damon stans) hate him because they say « he’s bored » but i thought he was so interested with the ripper story line. I even saw some commenting about he was the worst choice for elena and that he was an awful person because he killed so many people but he actually saw remorse. He didn’t do it on purpose. I love damon a lot as well especially BEFORE he dated elena. But they both hurt stefan so much i was pissed and then elena changed and had to make everything about herself. Anyway, i’m glad he found caroline before he died because even if i didn’t really ship them (i was klaroline) she actually chose him and loved him until the end. I’m sad he didn’t even get to be happy with his wife but at least now he’s in peace with his brother :(
ALSO the whole thing about damon being the better brother just pissed me off. As much as i loved damon, they screwed up his redemption by making him dependent on elena to do good. Unlike season 2 where he showed selflessness towards rose for example. [Anyway i’m ranting lmao, sorry if there are mistakes i’m french]

I'm late to this conversation but Stefan was and will always will be my favorite character. He deserved so much more. Paul W was amazing in the role. I not a Delena hater but how is it that they are the only ones to get a happy ending? Bonnie and Caroline both lose out?! We lose Stefan who has always been the heart of the show?! R.I.P. to my man Stefan Salvatore. He was the best character of any show. He made me feel like i was in the show. Every time something bad happened to him i just felt like i had to do something to help him even though it was just a show. He was the best brother to damon, best BF to Elena, and best friend to any other character. He sacrificed so much and he got no happy ending. He sacrificed everything for damon and elena it wasnt even funny. He literally died for them multiple times. He drowned, got his heart ripped out mentally and physically for them cause he wanted to give them space. If thats not selfless i dont know what is. He saved an entire town. The roles of damon and stefan shouldve been reversed. Damon shouldve showed he was actually good by sacrifising himself to finally give Stefan what he wanted. a human life with Elena. R.I.P to the most selfless, compassionate, caring, and the best hero hair man Stefan Salvatore.

I can't even explain, what I'm feeling right now. It's been 5 months and I'm still not over it. It's kinda strange how we attach ourselves, so much, to a fictional character, that when he dies it's like our world stops spinning. Stefan Salvatore was the hero, the martyr, the most amazing character on the show and a part of the most beautiful ships. I love him with all my heart and I know that I always will. Stefan is the better brother and deserved a happy ending, I felt in vain and heartbroken too after 8 years of supporting my favourite character from any show I was so disappointed from the writers! They didn’t have to kill him off it was soo pointless Damon had vampire speed so he could’ve ran with Stefan like he did with Damon in season 1 and stabbed Katherine, the death was utterly unnecessary which is what makes me angry the most. Stefan deserved a happy, human married life with carebear! Caroline is right why does it always have to be Stefan 😭😭😭 He has been so selfless for 8 seasons putting everyone first before himself and I finally wanted him to put himself first and LIVE and be HAPPY! I’ll forever be mad at the writers for giving such an awful ending to a phenomenal character, 8x15 is the finale for me and yes thank you so much Paul for giving us Stefan! We will forever cherish him!
