GC was a top 5 quartet due in large part because of great bass singing. No more. This bass is a hack that makes no attempt to blend. The lead on this song is very vanilla and generic. I’ve heard better singers in mid-level local church choirs. GC certainly not elite anymore.
Well if I’ve heard correctly, when Bruce went off the road the 2nd time back in 2020 he had some health issues, and they brought Cole in as a “long term fill in” for Bruce and I don’t believe Cole was ever told that, Cole thought he was there to stay, and I have no clue with what happened with Thomas haha
Cole is doing an awesome job!!
I agree
Its a shame Gold City is not in the top 10 gospel quartets anymore.
I still believe the are a top 10 quartet, they are doing fantastic as a group

Money buys the talent.
They need Jay back and they’ll be pretty solid again
@@Mark-sj3xb to me it feels like this lead has no power in his voice, especially compared to someone like Jonathan Wilburn
🙃
I'm kinda wondering why cole and Thomas got traded off to the Kingsmen so quickly and who is the pianist?
