Do you recommend putting the plastics on the bike first then graphics or putting graphics on the plastics off the bike and another thing with the seat covers do you think it will wear through the stock one if you put an aftermarket one overtop
We prefer to install the graphics with the plastics on the bike, as the bike holds them in place so they won't slide around and move all over the place. I have also always installed seat covers over the top of my stock cover with no issue.
Good tips but I would have liked to know about applying to plastics that are not new. Are there any tips like sanding scratches or anything else? The plastics are 10 years old but in good condition - not perfect but very good and clean - some slight scratches.
Hi! We only install to new plastics here at the shop. We don't recommend installing to used plastics if possible, as you can never get a perfect result after spending a lot of money on the graphics.
I never had to use a heat gun they just burn em and make them thin I set my kit outside when it’s like 70-80 degrees out and then put them on they never bubbled with natural heat
@@rival_ink thank you thinking about buying a graphics kit soon. It says on your website that’s there’s only a 2013 and 2015 yz 125 but no 2014. Would the 2013 fits on my 2014 yz 125?
For all the new people looking to buy their first graphic kit if you’re not plan on racing at a track and are gonna just ride at your local orv park or around the house just go with a cheap kit from like Mx island or senge graphic because nobody is gonna be eyeing you when you’re riding by there more focused on their own no reason to put top of the line graphics on a bike if you’re not going to make a career out of it don’t spend 200$ on graphics it’s just a waste of money that you can be putting it into your motor to better the bike
ORRRRR, hear me out. Let people do what they please. Maybe they have their build complete BUT the gfx. Or any other reason. Most people like Jo said, Do it because THEY like it.
Most buy graphics kits to feel pride in their bike - not to please others. Modifying your bike is also a hobby. You feel good about your bike when it is personalized and looks good to YOU.
I’m just going to pay yall to install them with a plastic kit lol. Going to be ordering one of the retro kits for a 24 yz450fx soon!
Awesome thanks for the masterclass ! Now wish me luck 🤙
these are quality stickers for sure used... do you have specific brand of stickers that you rely on for this graphics?
